Im just not feeling the 360

Hey everyone, long time no blog, I apologize for not commenting on peoples blogs, and not being on gamespot much for the past week or so, just been really busy. I have now had my 360 for exactly 1 month now, and I'm just not feeling it, as much as I love Dead Rising, and Perfect Dark Zero, there just doesnt seem to be any other exclusives that appeal to me.

I recently went over to a friends house who just got Rock Band, and I brought over my memory card and me and 3 of my close girl friends jammed to a pretty fun time with that game, however if I were to ever buy the game (which is highly unlikely due to the price) I would buy the PS3 version because of the free online play. But anyways thank you everyone to your game suggestions for 360 games, I already have (and love) Oblivion on the PS3 which I hear is the much better version vs the 360 one. And I will probably buy Bioshock next week or something, but other than that no game really looks good to me.

I do not like the Call of Duty games (I hate war games) and I dont like Halo, so I wouldnt be interested in Halo 3. Gears of War looked cool to me, until I actually played it at a friends house and was mortified by the clunky controls, slugish aiming, and all the duck and cover gameplay "its just not my cup of tea". Well thats my little rant about how I just havent gotten the full experience out of my 360 like I was hoping, and I still find myself liking the Wii, and PS3 lineup over the 360's :/

Recommend me some games

Hey everyone, well I have had my 360 for a little over 3 weeks now. And I unfortunatly dont have a clue on what games are good for it. I played a demo of Dead Rising, and absolutly loved it so, I went out and bought it for 29 brand new. But I want to know if there are any other good exclusive Xbox 360 games. Because if games are on both the 360 and PS3, I buy the ps3 one because I dont have xbox live. So anyways please help me out on what I should get. I like RPG and action games the most. Also I value a good story over everything else. Thanks everyone, also if you can look at my game collection on here and recommend me stuff off of what you think I'd like. Well thanks again

Its been 3 Days since I joined Gamespot, and now everyones leaving?

Hi well as some of you already know I am new to gamespot, just created my profile 3 days ago, and now it seems like everyone is leaving the site. I just dont get it, I hear it has something to do with someone getting fired but I honestly dont understand the whole rush to leave the site because of this.

Well I hope some of the new people I met are going to stay, and that there will still be a good amount of people who will still be on gamespot. If anyone can explain to me why everyones so angry it would be much appreciated thanks

Is Xbox Live really worth it? (and I got 3 new video games)

Hey everyone its me again, I wanted to thank everyone and all there lovely comments they have left me, and helping me on what game I should get next. Well I recently traded in my PSP (because I just didnt play it much at all) and I had a lot of store credit at gamestop. Well anyways So I bought 3 games with the credit I had. And those games are

Stranglehold (collectors edition)

Timeshift

Kane and Lynch

I bought them all for the PS3 because all 3 have online ,and I do not have Xbox Live. And thus brings me to my topic of this blog, is Xbox Live worth the money for a Gold account? I ask this because, I'm just a casual gamer who likes Single Player games, but do enjoy playing a few online matches every once and a while.

However Sony offers free online acess, and I can play great online games like Resistance, and Warhawk, however in order to play 360's online you have to pay what is it $60 a year? I just wanted to see if its really worth it to have Xbox Live.

Currently my favorite game that I have played on 360 is Perfect Dark Zero (which has multiplayer bots, so I dont really need online for it). I am not a Halo fan, so I dont really care to much about playing Halo 3 or Halo 4 whenever that comes out. And as for Call of Duty, I am not a fan of world war games so I would not like that game anyways.

Well please help me out, and let me know if its worth paying for. Does Microsoft give you free points for being a member each month, because I see to download new backgrounds and icons for Xbox 360 profiles it costs points, and I was wondering if you pay monthly for the service do you get points each month that Microsoft gives you, because sony has wallpapers on PSN and there all free :/

Well anyways that its for now, I was going to write a couple of video game reviews, but they said I need to be level 3 in order to write reviews or I have to pay monthly :( sounds like Gamespot is under the payroll, or warped minds of Microsoft and having you pay for stuff -_-

Well thats it for now please leave comments and thank you for your time

2nd day on gamespot (need your help on what game I should get next)

Thanks to everyone and there nice comments they left me. I am enjoying being a member of Gamespot so far, and while I dont really have many friends on here yet, I hope to get more as time progresses. Well anyways I need your guy's help, I don't know what game to get next, here are the 4 games I currently want to get

Kane and Lynch

Blacksite Area 51

Soldier of Fortune Payback

Stranglehold

Yes I know none of these games got that great of reviews but I am a huge fan of the old light gun arcade Area51 game, and I enjoyed the Xbox game very much as well. As for Kane and Lynch I'm a huge fan of the hitman games, and I really liked Freedom Fighters which were both by the same people who made Kane and Lynch. As for Soldier of Fortune Payback, I loved part 2 on PC. And finally Stranglehold because I love slow motion action games, with tons of action and the game looks pretty intense. Well hopefully you guys can help me decide which game I should buy. Thanks again for the friendly comments and messages and I will do my best to post on your guys blogs too. Thanks for your time

Hi Everyone I am new to Gamespot

Hello fello gamers, I am new to Gamespot (as a member, have been browsing the site since it opened) and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer and I am 23 years old, and live in Nevada, I used to live in CA but recently moved. I have been a video game fan since the days of the NES and have been playing them ever since. I recently bought a Nintendo Wii and a PS3, and got my Xbox 360 1 week ago exactly. So I have plenty of Next Gen games I need to get caught up on, including Halo 3, Gears of War, and more. Well thats about it for now, I will continue these updates soon once I get more friends and get into how this whole Blogging thing works. Thanks for your time
