For me it would be Assassins Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Borderlands, but now Dragon Age Origins is looking awesome! I got all my preorders in! Woot! Also Brutal Legends is amazing!

For me it would be Rainbow Six Black Arrow, old school. I had the best times in that game! But why not do a ranking: Top 5

1. RS Black Arrow

2. Left 4 Dead

3. COD 4 Modern Warfare

4. Halo 2

5. The Ship (If done with a lot of people and correctly)

I think guides take all the fun out of a game, if a guide is needed then it should only be from the internet for free and for areas of great frustration, but to me if a game has such an area than it was not that good of a game, a game should be fun and amazing not frustratiing and annoying. thats just my take on it.

This idea is made of win and awesome... specialization should be weapon based of course along with some other unique abilities like athleticism, driving skills, etc.

But what about professions?

MajorGamer531

Oh wow! you make a very good point sir! Professions... Hmmm... Well it would need to be professions that fit within the universe, for instance I dont think mining would work well within this world, but scavenging would be a great skill set. Being able to collect useful parts from fallen foes, wrecks, houses, and such. And of course crafting or weapon smithing. A scavenger should also want to excell at either weapons smithing or perhaps merchantilism. Something like this. Alchemy would not make sense but a scientific profession should exist, I mean they wouldnt make potions but vials or syringes that would boost player stats, like steriods... Hmmm since I am not to familar with the MMO profession systems, could someone who does understand them let me know how many should be in a game and what types do exist? I will do some research but a first hander would be nice :)

I am thinking that massive battles should be kept to minimum, hmmm I am not sure. Should there be massicve pvp or more concentrated pvp? Like 8 survivors vs 8 human zombies???? I am trying to think this through, any thoughts?

I am really liking those ideas, and the lone rogue is a very cool idea! I like the idea of a character that cant tie in with the other survivors, but only help people out for a cost of course, like a merc. It would make for a great twist on the survival mechanic, someone who is strong alone, but can be vital for a group or individual looking for help. A hired gun if you will, who should have a good crafting ability for vehicles, so they can motor around faster, and create weapons on wheels.

As for the Zombie, I think perhaps 4 or 5 special human infected would be key, and they should be able to level a lot faster than the humans so they can beef up fast enough to put up a fight and cure a lot quiker. And another way to balance the playing field there must be a certain way for a survivor to turn into a zombie, it can't just be because a zombie attacks a survivor to death, I think it must be in the way of a bite and only certain times can an infected bite a player, it must be when zombie is within range and is able to bite without being knocked off of the player, because if the zombie is knocked off and the player is only wounded by the bite than that player should be able to get medical attention within a certain time frame by only going back to an NPC town for a price, or a local guild area where antidote is available. This medicine can only be administered within a time frame of being bitten in order to work, it is not the cure that the zombies are only able to create. And again when you turn back into a human after being a zombie you will have goul characteristic about you ala fallout 3 ****gouls, if you get what I am saying.

As for the zombie ****s, I like the idea of a hunter, basher, licker, projectiler, and a tank type. Well I guess the tank type would be the basher.... Well perhaps a agile type that can latch onto a player and sever all communication with surrounding people do to the positioning of the infecteds body on the survivors head, thus is orienting the player and making that player vulnerable to zombie attack.... Something along those lines. This will need to be ironed out but it is making sense. And a way to encourage pvp of zombie vs survivor would be luring the zombies into human zones with a certain reward that would either have something to do with the cure or make the zombies stronger. I dont know which would be better, and make more sense. I guess the cure could revolve around survivor blood... So it would make the zombies want to actively attack the survivors at night. But if we said that zombies are stronger at night and weaker during the day, what can the zombies do during the day time to make it worth playing??? Hmmm this is a balancing issue that must be resolved. I think there needs to be a zombie leader ****that can control hordes of NPC zombies as well. They should have the ablity to summon hundreds of zombies in the surrounding areas to attack certain spots on command! That would be cool! A good AI needs to back the NPC hordes up... Wow there is a lot to think about! :)
