Been playing the trial, ad the game is fun - love the maps and gameplay, but there's no question that the loot crate pay to win system tarnished the experience.
Whatever the reason (and I can think of many), I do thank EA for doing the right thing, though it's important to be vigilant; it'll be interesting to see where they go with this. Micro-transactions are a multi-million dollar model so they're bound to 'strike back' (no pun intended)
Terrible news that such an iconic retail store has gone in to admin, and in particular the job losses! However, it was going to happen sooner or later - why buy music, games and DVD's from HMV when you can just download them. At one time, I'd go into HMV in my lunch hour to by the latest music single which would cost about £3.99 for the song and all the B side. Now I'd just download what I want from iTunes on the bus ride to work for 99p. And it's not just about convenience, HMV can be well overpriced. I remember seeing Street Fighter 4 in Asda one year after it's release for £12.97...across the retail park in HMV it was £44.99!
Terrible news as always, though it comes as no shock!
So basically anyone who is looking forward to DMC is a troll?? How does that work? Considering the amount of moaning going on, I'm not sure I'd call this a fan base??! Sorry, for being independent of mindI
Looking at you comments/moans, If you don't like the game...don't buy or play it!

So basically anyone who is looking forward to DMC is a troll?? LMFAO. Considering the amount of moaning going on, I'm not sure I'd call this a fan base??! Sorry, for being independent of mindI word of advise...If you don't like the game...don't buy or play it!
Can't wait for this! I remember watching a gameplay footage (I couldn't help it) of Isaac making his way towards a 200 year old derelict ship in orbit over Tau Velantis. As he entered it was pitch black and absolutely quiet...no engine roaring. Nothing! Just 200 year old dead bodies floating in zero-G! Kind of reminds me of the first Dead Space, where that military ship crashes into the Ishimura!
I think people are being far too pre-judgemental of this game...I think we'll all be pleasantly surprised!
Don't forget the new Dead Space game for the iPhone/Android. I'd recommend it! I'm a huge fan of the series and am well impressed! It's based on the Sprawl and explains the story behind how the Necromorphs were let loose. It's a proper Deadspace game with about 14 chapters and I'm only 2 hours into it. It features Director Tidemann and has all the Dead Space content such as Zero-G gravity! Awesome
