Companies firing people over breaking their code of conduct guidelines has been a standard practice for many years. I work for a financial company that also monitors in office behavior and social media posts related to race, gender, religion...etc....And they will fire you based on past incidents.

People on here just want to take shots against a political affiliation or group they don't like.
