If swtor fails there is always cornipricus..Studio 38s mmorpg..They said there making the game challenging like old everquest.,.Ive been following this..Liking what ive heard so far..Curt schillings mmorpg..He was a die hard everquest player and said he played some wow..So he knows about mmorpgs..There is hope also for this title..

Gladestone1

This is the first I have ever heard of this cornpricus and all I can find about it is a vague paragraph on 38 studios website. Their Kingdoms of Amalur game looks good so I'm interested in seeing what the MMO is about.

There is another game that I heard about recently that I think may be worth keeping an eye out for, its called ArchAge

If you live in the Southern hemisphere you can't preorder it. Also from the scant detail ea/bioware have been releasing it seems there may be a delayed launch in the southern hemisphere. By weeks? months?

I dunno but Stephen Reid the senior community manager says we will not know for quite some time.

I hope Guild Wars 2 comes out this year...

As reported by Edge, Forum user v-ware says that he was banned for 72 hours for asking Bioware "have you sold your souls to the EA devil?" He made a new account to post about his predicament on the Bioware forums, saying that while he accepts the terms of the ban, he's found that it's unexpectedly stopped him from playing Dragon Age 2.

"I just got my Bioware Signature Edition from the store. I already knew I was going to play it without the extra content since I can't activate my extra codes. What I did not know was that I needed to activate the game before being abble to play it. So now I've got a dead game for 50 euros."

Bioware moderator Stanley Woo responded in the same thread, saying that vware was banned for breaching EA's terms of service, even though he was posting on the Bioware forums. Woo explains that "EA Community bans come down from a different department and are the result of someone hitting the REPORT POST button. These bans can affect access to your game and/or DLC."

"Because the BioWare community now operates under the same umbrella as all EA Communities, community members here have all explicitly agreed to abide by and be governed by both sets of rules"

"Consider it an added incentive to follow the rules you say you're going to follow," he added, before closing down the thread.

We have asked EA for comment on the ban, but are yet to hear back.

Just read this stroy by Tom Senior@PCGamer and it pissed me the **** off. I imagine EA/Bioware didn't think banning one small insignificant forum user was going to have any impact huh? Well, they lost one sale.

Ive played 3 of the closed betas of Rift now. I think its great. I'll definitely get the game and play for the first few months at least. Wether it retains enough of a player base to remain successfully is to be seen.

I played WoW and WAR so in comparison RIFT has learned from those games and mimics them closely (which is a good thing. Give me a WoW clone over a piece of **** like Aion any day). It has similar mechanics to WAR party quests. The pvp awards xp so like WAR it is a viable way to level and takes out a lot of the grind. The game has in built features like UI editing, item linking and countless other features that seem essential now thanks to WoW.

As an active HON player, I can tell you it's only rivaled by the world of warcraft community in terrible.

Espada12

You my friend have either never played WoW or have had some uncommonly awful experiences. MMO's in general have some of the best, most social communites anywhere. Playing the same game with the same group of people everyday causes you to care for those people and call them friends.

I suggest you give HoN a wide berth. If you want to try a DOTA like game perhaps try League of Legends. It's much more newbie friendly and at first you will be playing with people who are equally newbie like you.

LoL is by no means devoid of idiots and raging **** but I feel the game has far less of them. No one ever complains when they are winning of coarse. On losing games I'd say 1 in every 3 there are people arguing and flaming each other.

Is there a way that I can format the laptop without having to worry about the password?

SAGE_OF_FIRE

You could remove the hard drive and plug it in to another computer. That would let you format the drive. The bios password is not related to your harddrive however. The bios resides in the motherboard, you can think of it as the little bit of software that starts up the harddrive. Hence even if you format your harddrive you would still have to deal wiht the bios password.

be sure to try some of the common passwords, you'd be suprised how many people use them.

123, 111, 000, 999, 1234, 123456, 123456, password, 12345678, lifehack, qwerty, abc123, 111111, monkey, consumer, 12345, 0, letmein, and trustno1.

Make all games masively multiplayer :)

If you think that's crazy, well maybe it's not so far from the reality in a few years.

[QUOTE="DigitalExile"]

Oblivion was released in March of 2006 and Skyrim will be released at the end of 2011 That's nearly 6 years. Sounds like a long time to me.

Remmib

And yet they are still using the same piece of s*** game engine. Pathetic Bethesda. You have f***ed me for the last time.

you and me both. I'm ready to burn down their f***ing offices.
