@hushed_kasket: I think you'll find this game is reviewing poorly across the board. Doesn't mean that no one can have fun with it, just that its quite flawed.

This game sounded great when they revealed it. But they're wasting the franchise and concept with shoe horned rpg mechanics to sell microtransactions.

Also sounds like its filled with busy work to grind for gear etc

Games with Gold has been a bit average for the most part this year. Although I have gamepass which is excellent, so not too concerned.

@Sofrito77: Yeah I kind of thought the review over labored the critque of the games handling of the setting and use of tropes.

Haven't played Gears 4 yet. Will I miss much if I just skip to 5 (story etc)?

I have the PC version from backing on Kickstarter, but since I don't really game on PC I haven't got around to playing.

I'd think about getting it on sale on Switch, because that would be a preferable platform to play on for me.

So its Wolfenstein with basic Co-Op, lite rpg and some Open World elements

Sounds like a decent game, but not essential.

I loved Alan Wake back in the day. Would be keen for a Switch version.

This could be a better option for me than MHW, which I don't have the time or patience for.
