@gaeandilth: Based on your logic on Xbox One and why it lost, why in the hell did the sales of PS3 overtake the 360? PS3 came out nearly a full year after 360, was $599.99 dollars, had an arguably (not so great) launch line-up, was priced above 360 for most of its console lifespan, AND IT STILL BEAT 360 IN SALES LOL. And remember, the PS3 beat 360 even though people kept buying a 2nd or 3rd, even 4th 360 because RRoD was so rampant. People kept buying 360 because of the game library despite the ridiculous RRoD. ANY YET, PS3 STILL SOLD MORE LMAO!
Face the facts. When it comes to worldwide appeal, PlayStation HAS ALWAYS stomped Xbox. It doesn't matter if Xbox comes in slightly cheaper in price or not. PlayStation always wins in the end. I think Xbox Series X will come in at the same price as PS5. But, even if it is slightly lower or slightly higher in price than PS5, it won't matter in the end. PS5 will sell more no matter what lol. Remember PS3 again...a year later than 360, was a very, very difficult console that devs HATED making games for, had a horrific, awful E3, Sony was arrogant as all hell, AND THEY STILL BEAT MICROSOFT IN THE END LOL. Sony will win again with PS5 against Xbox Series X no matter what.
@doodoflife: Loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I didn't even make it as far as you did in Outer Worlds. Every part of what I played felt like an inferior attempt at a New Vegas style of game. I didn't feel like wasting another second on Outer Worlds and decided I'd rather play New Vegas again instead.
@SsangyongKYRON: It's great that you determine the fate of a video game you were on the fence about based on one person's opinion about that particular game. And btw...the person who reviewed this game has long since left GameSpot for other endeavors. And while he was at GameSpot, the opinion was that he was very hit and miss with his opinions on games. He was respected, was passionate about games, but with all the praise he got, he still had plenty of controversial reviews as well.
Oh boy! Are we back to "extremely arrogant Sony" from PS3 era? Sony thought five hundred and ninety nine US dollars would still get people to flock to PS3 lol. Yeah, eventually PS3 outsold the 360, but PS3 struggled at the beginning because of Sony's over-the-top arrogance. I wonder if that extreme arrogance is returning for PS5 lol.
"OH BOY!!! Here is how we do it! A LOGO!!! Our fanbase should embrace us! After all, we've sold 106 million PS4s! A logo that looks the exact same as previous logos should make fanboys salivate in absolute desire!! This should be enough to destroy the competition!
Ghosts of Tsushima was never a PS4 only title. What we saw a year ago was on an early PS5 dev kit and it was obvious lol. It is probably a PS5 launch title. If it is also on PS4, then that version will look way worse than then demo we saw many months ago when it is released.
@doctor_mg: No, Fallout NV got got a 7.5. VanOrd trashed the game for its glitches in his video review. And to be fair, PUBG is much worse in its current state than NV was at launch. It crashes more often, framerate unacceptable at times, etc.
