Hey

I am a long time member, granted I was inactive for a while, I saw to my horror the video section of our profile is gone. I had over 300 videos I didn't exactly want to lose. If they are gone I don't mind

however if there is anyway I can get access to them to download or save even I have to pay for the service i don't mind. There was a lot of memories.

There was no alerts or email notifcations that it was going that I received despite being inactive I kept my account up to date.

Thank you I appreciate this maybe a long shot I wanted to ask any how

Hey

I am trying to re-activate my total access account. I've put in my details correctly but it keeps coming up it did not pass the AVS test. I am positive I am entering the correct billing address. I even copied off from the bank statement exactly. So I believe there must be a technical error on gamespots part.

Is there any way I can pay via Paypal or something?

I'm wishing to add a portal on my website to this game. A inline frame with gamespot.com. So people that come to our site will also be able to browse Gamespot. I've been a member of Gamespot for over 5-7 years and I would like to keep spreading the word.

I manage to get permission from another game site. To do the same thing so just as an example of what I intend to do. A link below is just so a Admin can see what I mean.

Gamespot has a good video uploading section which is a credit to gamespot.

However when showing my fiance, my page she found it annoying that you cannot download your own videos that you personally uploaded. She found this surpising as she mentioned that other sites have this option.

The main reason why this came about is, that the videos we uploaded we kept on our computer. However as things tend to happen. We lost one of the videos that we had uploaded. We wanted to see if it was possible to download one of my videos, I had posted.  But as to no surprise, we wasn't able to.

I would to suggest that gamespot makes it possible to download your own videos, Only your own, not anyone elses videos.

So when you log in and go to your video section in your profile, make it only the owner of the profile can see the button "Download" then the rest is self explained.

I think this would be a nice addition for Gamespot. perhaps something for the paid members of Gamespot.

I still have this problem and it is now going on into the 3rd-4th week. The message counter shows 1 message un-read but no message inside my inbox has been left unread.

[QUOTE="spazzx625"]Oh, longer...yeah... I was thinking you meant wider. This would be remedied with a fixed length, though, or just repeating the fixed length image over and over.

Yeah that makes sense.

[QUOTE="Archrivel"]I don't think it's a glitch, I've seen this before, where a pm was sent just not showing up and I think this is what has happened here. as I still have the problem. There is a glitch that does that but it shouldn't have lasted 2 weeks. When i had that one, i had it for a few days but not nearly as long as that. To be honest, i don't know what it could be other than a glitch. I would just hope it sorts itself out soon.

I think it's just som1 sent me a pm, and it's just not showing up in the inbox. Why it would last so long.

Do you think people who play videogames will always hold that interest or is it a standard possibility that they will grow tired of it?

I'm asking this because I never found someone who quit playing and I can't see myself losing that interest.

The other side of the coin is, what about people who started playing at a late age, do that happen often?

Or is it a time at our lives that if we don't look at videogames with interest we won't eventually get hooked?

If you think about it, everyone is a Gamer, everyone plays the game of life. And people in their 40's n 60's are playing World of warcraft. and other gamers. will stay true.
