[QUOTE="AngusYoung18"]depends on which one you bought. different xboxs have different prices for the warranty. in my opinion its not worth it. all they do now i replace the controller if it goes bad and if you have hard drive problems, dust, humidity, and power surges. IT DOES NOT COVER THE RROD. so its a waste of money. plus they send you a refurbish one back if they cant fix your old one. just like what microsoft does.Jaysonguy
That's all completely false
Best Buy charges like 59.99 I think for the Elite coverage now? Cheaper for everything else
Whatever reason your 360 breaks you bring it in with the controller and cables and get a whole new console.
They also let you swap out the hard drive
Do NOT get the one from Microsoft. All you're doing is asking to get sent a refurbished unit that's been in God knows where and treated God knows how.
acutally its not. i work at best buy. they brought a new system in called geek squad black tie protection plan. all the units are different for the warranty. so that was correct what you said. they do not replace the whole system for a new one. they refurbish it now. they do replace the controller alone if the controller goes out http://www.geeksquad.com/gslibrary/services/content/black_tie_protection/terms_and_conditions/20080914/20080914GadgetGizmo.pdf check the pdf for more information on the gadets and gizmos plans
