Reasons for the fright...
Pumpkin # 1
A craptastic castle thingy... that slowly fell appart because it has been a few years since I have carved a hapless gourd... and didn't do all the little details first.
Pumpkin # 2
....erm... the Sailormoon S logo... so shoot me~! I like Sailormoon~! It was funny. It actually turned out really well... you know, for being an Usagi shaped hole.
Pumpkin # 3
My pride and joy... Pyramid Head. Ohhh.... it took a couple hours at the very least. But it was awesome~! I took the pose from the mural in the Historic Society thingy. My one grumble is that I carved the kanji "Fukuro" as well... but due to the large knives :: sucks fingers:: and the fact that I had to shave down the skin for a mid tone, it just kinda...died. So, I grabbed the nearest X-acto knife and serrated kitchen knife and had fun at it. There is a joke now. "There was a hole here.. its back now."
I will put up the pictures soon ^_^

Right, so... here it is... aren’t I special? Damn, when the hell is work gunna start? Anyway, I guess I'll rant about my current game, Silent Hill. (PSX) I'll just start by saying... I'm not just a bit disappointed, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have been drugged by the PS2, but it seems that the general make of the game seems quite... shaky. The fact that these demon dogs levitate towards your head as opposed to actually hunching down and springing into an attack, is a bit… odd… to say the very least. Another problem is when the main character, Harry, turns while readied for attack. Normally, one cross steps to turn, right? No, not Harry, he just kinda slides around. I donno, maybe he's been eating too much mystery flavored Silent Hill Brand pudding. (he he) Sorry if that makes no sense to you. ^_^; Another problem with attacking is that, at times, its hard to time. (i.e., floating dog thingies tend to totally fry your depth perception.) I just feel that in 1999, the technology was there for the use, but it seems as if a lot of corners were sadly cut.
OH~! And did I mention the chicken***t flying things~! The s***ts take a couple rounds, then run ...err... fly like hell~!!! GET OVER HEAR, I HAVN'T KILLED YOU YET~!
And I have another problem.... its.. too easy, well, so far. I haven't gotten lost or disoriented yet~! ... and believe me, I alllllways do…Mainly due to my random running around in circles. Hmm... Maybe I'm just paying attention. But, don't get me wrong, I am loving this game a great deal~! Its nice playing thru the very first story to actually see the first of the multi chapter story as it plays out. The puzzles are enough to keep me thinking and thoroughly interested, but not too obscenely difficult. I quite like the not too difficult puzzles that just take a great deal of time. (That is unless a rather large monster reminds me that I forgot to save...)
So far, this is an intriguing game, that has enough macabre imagery to keep me smiling and my heart warm~!
And those little Stalker guys in the classrooms are just so bloody cute~! (Squeak~!)
