Badger is the common name for any animal of three subfamilies, which belong to the family Mustelidae. Typical badgers (Meles, Arctonyx, Taxidea and Mellivora species) are short-legged and heavy-set. The lower jaw is articulated to the upper by means of a transverse condyle firmly locked into a long cavity of the cranium, so that dislocation of the jaw is all but impossible.

Gears of War 2 continues the story of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad, locked in an increasingly desperate battle against the nightmarish Locust Horde for the survival of humanity. Gears of War 2 is an epic saga of survival, loss, and retribution. The term "hotly anticipated" is often applied to upcoming videogames, usually quite erroneously. But for most Xbox 360 owners, the term isn't quite enough to describe the upcoming sequel to one of the best Xbox 360 games ever. Gears of War 2 is the hotly anticipated game for our favorite console, and even though videos and screens of the game have just started to eke out, gamers are in a tizzy for more. Well, we got more, an actual live demo of the game from none other than Cliffy B himself, showing the game in live action. So? How was it? In a word: sweeeeet. The story picks up approximately six months after the end of the first game. The humans may have won the battle, but the war is far from resolved. It's the last day of Autumn, and Marcus Phenix and his homeboys in Delta company are continuing the fight against the Locust, after the events of the first game. While not really a cliffhanger, it was pretty clear that the Locust were not gone for good at the end of Gears of War, despite the effects of the Lightmass Bomb you worked so hard to plant. The humans have recovered a bit by the beginning of Gears 2, but the threat remains and you must keep on fighting the good fight. Set six months later, Gears of War 2 is all about humanity's last stand, in a town called Jacinto, a hamlet built upon bedrock, which is impenetrable to the burrowing fiends. Instead, they start sinking entire cities around it, destabilizing the ground itself by tunneling beneath. Ultimately they will be able to isolate and destroy Jacinto this way, but not if you have anything to say about it. The best defense the humans have against the Locust at this point is the Grind Lift, an "elevator to hell" that allows them to descend down to the depths and fight them on their own turf. These Grind Lifts are no small deal though, requiring a large moving platform to put them in to place called a "derrick". The level shown to us at the gamers day, and featured in the gameplay video is centered around moving one of these derricks to a strategic location, and the bad things that happen along the way as the Locust attempt to thwart your plans. So there you are, on this huge moving platform headed for where the action is, when the Locust attack. Instead of traversing destroyed urban areas, so familiar to people who played the first game, you're out in the country, amongst the trees and communing with nature. Actually, you would be communing with nature if it wasn't for the g.d. Locust, who are determined to ruin your party with some mortars. Good thing you can actually shoot those incoming rounds out of the air as Cliffy flawlessly demonstrated.
