6. Btw, you sound like you care, but i can't know your real intentions because, basically you are making more people know about this and possibly making more people criticize her, and just because you found yourself a new article to write about.
1. If she think that games should skip the action scenes, then she should make a project for a game that way, there is enough room for another game in the market, but i dont know if there are buyers for that particular game, after all that would turn the game into a expensive movie with manual. 2. Making fights skippable would ruin the feeling of immersion of the game. 3. The fight has a purpose, the dialogue has a purpose, the fight makes you want to play the game, the dialogue makes you want to keep playing, even if you are beaten, so you can continue the history. This would ruin this relationship. 4. Bashing someone for what they SAID is not fair, if she had made a law that every game of the company should now be following that standard then bashing would be allowed, but not bashing the person's personal life ("Hepler has been called "c***", "sl**", and "wh***". She's been criticized for her gender, her appearance, and her religion."). These guys talk like their mothers have been killed by a maniacal rapist, either they have problems or are just f****ng trolls that dont realize that there is a real person standing on the other side of the monitor. 5. Oh Yeah, right, we have no rights to say what we want in the games, we just need to buy them and like it, if they put Barbie as a playable character in next Mortal Kombat i have to accept it and keep my mouth shut. I dont wanna be rude but the things that you said could turn you into the next victim of these idiots.
@Xenrathe i have never tought that way, its a great point, but the problem is that what they do is not put more inovation and creativity to games but simply create more games without a single new feature that is made just to sell more copies, so they can make Another game that is only made to sell, and the cycle goes forever. They do not make money fair, if they did i would be glad to give my money to these companies, but they sell products not games, they will always find a way of milking money, it used to be the Arcade machines and now is this.
@skynight175216 i was talking about fighting games that are good to play, the only one that makes me want to play in 3DS is Blazblue, i have a DS and i play until today but his fighting games were crap, the 3DS i was excited when i saw the fighting games that were going to be out but when i saw the games... disappointment, the PS Vita have a similar feeling to the xbox/ps ones. I'm a gameplay player, i dont give a damn about graphics, i play sega genesis and nintendo but the graphics of the DS and its sucessor are not what i would call clean, give me outdated clean graphics that do not tire to look at the screen that i will buy it. And just because the 3ds has 4 fighting games, that doesnt mean they are the fighting games i like. DoA i dont care, Street Fighter i have the AE in xbox so its meaningless to buy it(unless i like fighting against people using the touch screen), Tekken 3D... nice graphics but again, already have Tekken 6, Super smash bros i like but for casual playing. And in PS Vita we have Sf X Tekken that i dont have and is a new game, not a remake of an already out game, Ultimate Mvsc 3 that i dont have too, i have only the regular version and i wouldnt buy this but at least this is a new game too, Mortal Kombat almost new but one thing for sure, not outdated and Blazblue that both have and in both they look great. My particular opinion and if you dont like it thumb down.
PS vita is where the fighting games are, so if they make enough fighting games worth picking i would like to buy the Vita, but when i say "worth" is a game without having to bother with things other than fighting like cleaning the blood in MK with your hand, i know MK is great because of its gore and its visuals but with things such as this being added(things that goes away from the fighting and goes straight to the casual gaming) i would pass it without thinking twice. Well, ofc there a bunch of people that would think "With great games such as Uncharted, this guy is only thinking of buying a Vita because of fighting games, You ******!" but, i like my games, i dont care for the ones that you like, we can coexist in the same world.
@coop36 No, not the buy, rent or pass... thats even worse, for jesus sake, who would buy a game with pass written on it? people do still buy a game with 5 or 4 if they like(take me with dynasty warriors for instance), if it had 'pass' on it they would never buy and it would end up killing some jewels that were good but not properly polished... In my particular opinion notes shouldnt be given, explain the game in a review, and if the reviewer think the game REALLY deserves to be bought put the Editor's Choice award. This way companies wouldn't die because they got bad scores on their games, they would die if the game is crap.
i grab games that i like. i see reviews just to know the game better but gamespot's scores dont mean a thing to me. after all, the best games are the ones with lower scores. the ones with higher notes are crap for everyone, but guess what, im not everyone.
