For me it’s simply I have built a library of games for the single player experience and if the 3 giant console makers want to go digital so they can limit true ownership of a game that you purchase I don’t have to participate in that as with sports I stop watching sports when they started charging to watch them have not looked back

@just1mohr: that is poetry I feel the same way they want to take ownership away from the consumer and I will not support an Industry that want more money than they need and hurts their customers not on my watch

My backlog of games is at the very least 5 years so I can wait them out price increase equals gaming crash

I have to say I was unsuccessful for a pre order however probably won’t pull the trigger until Metroid Prime 4 beyond graces the shelves.

I don’t remember how long but it was sometime before you could go to the store and pick up a switch.

I think that trend will continue with the switch 2 we will have to wait and see

Metroid has surprised me in the past. Not seeing any graphical jump here.

Metroid Dread blew me away so I will always wait and see how things shake out.

Really want to love it day one for me for sure they always have a way of making me happy.

If not open world this go around I would really like to see how Metroid could make an open world universe work PLEASE!

For me at least I would be very interested I want to play the current NHL game by ea sports on the go I thought I would be able to at this point in my video game career on a dedicated system but still it in unattainable
