My Top 15 Let's Players [Part 1: #15 - #7]

I know I said I would make this blog by at least Sunday, but I was busy for most of the week.

But enough talk, I'm sure you'd rather just have me get on with the list.

Before I start, I do have a few rules for this list: no groups that don't consider themselves let's players, and no collaborative groups of let's players.

That means channels like BrainScratchComms, HellFireComms, Game Grumps, and The Runaway Guys will not be included in this list.

With all that said, let's get started.

#15: TehJonBro

Starting off this list at #15, we have TehJonBro. Jon is... well, he's not well known for much, because he's not really that popular. But what he does, he does well, and that is LPs, and animations. Not much else to say. I really like his stuff, and he deserves to be more popular than he currently is.

#14: ScottishDuck

Moving on to #14, we have one of the first let's players I ever watched, Scottish Duck. I don't really have much else to say, really. I enjoy his videos, and he still makes videos to this day, but I just don't have much to say. He's good.

#13: AntDude92

And at #13, we have the first let's player I ever watched, AntDude92. Except, now he doesn't do LPs anymore, and when he did, he did so under the name SonikDude101. When he did do LPs though, they were pretty damn good, and I really enjoyed watching them. The first LP I ever watched was his LP of Sonic Unleashed (which has since been taken down from his old channel). The reason why he's not any higher on the list is because while he still make videos (in the form of reviews and top 10s), he no longer makes LPs, so he's not an LPer anymore.

#12: ExandShadow

And at #12, we have ExandShadow, aka: Ted from Brain Scratch. Like just about everyone that knows who he is, I discovered Ted through Brain Scratch (more specifically, that one part in Resident Evil 4 where Ryan called him up to be in the commentary for no reason). At one point I just decided to watch his own LPs, and I really enjoyed what I saw. I especially enjoyed his Thousand Year Door LP. Check him out if you haven't seen him.

#11: AttackingTucans

At #11, we have AttackingTucans (or Tyler). Tyler is an LPer well known for his (very) off-color humor, a style I'm not usually a fan of. I'm not sure why, but I actually find it quite amusing with Tyler. Can't say why, it's just pretty funny. I also admire the amount of professionalism put into all of his videos, even if he sometimes doesn't update regularly. Despite usually being very happy/cheerful, when he gets mad, he gets really f***ing angry. Just watch this video.

#10: Donnabellez

1.jpg?v=4f7f1d6a

At #10, we have the first female LPer (but not the only one) on this list, Donnabellez (or just Donna). Donna is well known for being very happy and incredibly cheerful, despite getting pretty mad when screwing up (not to the extent of Tyler, however). Not much else to say, really. I enjoy her commentary. She also did a pretty good dramatic reading of Ben Drowned.

#9: Lucahjin

1.jpg?v=4f1c428e

At #9, we have the second (and last) female LPer on this list, Lucahjin. Like Tyler, Lucah is well known for her off-color humor, and it's pretty damn funny. Watch her Barbie's Horse Adventure LP to get a good idea of how off-color she can really get. However, Lucah can be very serious when doing commentaries for games that she feels deserves serious commentary, such as Ico, Shadow of the Collosus, and Journey. She's also a pretty good artist and can make some really good drawings, even when she's drunk.

#8: SuperJeenius

1.jpg?v=50b110c7

At #8, we have one of the biggest otakus I've ever seen, SuperJeenius (or Jake). He does what he does, and what he does is good. I enjoy his commentary, he's very optomistic and cheerful, not one to usually get very loud or angry. However, in the few situations in which he does get angry, he gets pretty friggin' angry. I especially love his LPs of Persona 3 FES and Four Swords Adventures.

#7: Pcull

1.jpg?v=50b13841

And now for something completely different. While Jake is usually pretty calm and not usually angry, Pcull (or Patrick) is incredibly loud and can get very angry. And he's HILARIOUS. Probably one of the funniest LPers on this list. All of the anger/gibberish/angry gibberish he speaks is always fun to listen to, and always makes me laugh. Unfortunately, about 5 or 6 months ago, Patrick was diagnosed with mono, and has been unable to make videos for quite some time. It's not life threatening or anything, but I hope gets better soon.

Anyway, that's it for part 1, I hope you enjoyed it so far, and #6-1 will be up within the next few days.

I'll see you all later, I hope you're having a fantastic day, and a very happy new year.
