Being an adult is lame.

Being an adult sucks. It doesn't suck because I have to do laundry, or go to work, or cook for myself, or that I'm expected to do things. All those things are great. I like doing most of those things. I like being responsible for myself. I like cooking my own food, picking what I wear every day, and all in all, I like being a grown man. Being a grown man beats being a kid any day.

Being an adult sucks because you realize most other adults are f*cking losers. 95.43% of all people over the age of 18 are god damn losers. They're losers now and they'll be losers forever. I don't need a source to back that up. Go outside. Spend 45 minutes conversing with other people your own age. Listen to the awful bullsh*t they spew as they justify the miserable state of their own existence. No plan, no job, no car, no money, no anything. And it's always someone else's fault.

And it's only getting worse.

Looong time.

Hey guys. How's it been?

So it's been awhile. If anyone actually still reads my blog, well I've been really busy lately.

My good friend just had his first kid, and my other just got married. I'm still a single man myself, but its only because I can't be stealing all the ladies from my pals, ya see.

I've recently beaten Metal Gear Solid 4, and am currently replaying Red Dead Redemption. I'm actually going to attempt to finish it this time.

In all, I love the writing, setting, characters, and the gameplay is great, so I'm pretty excited to see where it goes past Mexico. Also, I just got into Silent Hill with Homecoming.

I should be going on leave soon, hopefully, maybe. Will post more but I work tonight.

So I found the best store ever.

I found out about a little store called Estarland(They have a website) from a Gamestop employee when I inquired about older, classic games.

It turns out in Fairfax, Virginia, there's a store that sells old games, accessories, consoles, even imported titles and collectible models and even creepy anime figures in maid costumes. All in all, its a pretty badass store.

I bought a new, factory sealed copy of Chrono Cross. For 16 bucks.

I purchased Final Fantasy Anthologies, Chrono Cross, and even found a new copy of Parasite Eve II, and got them all for less than 100 bucks. I've almost beaten Parasite Eve II(Down to the Mitochondria Baby and Parasite Eve herself), but I've yet to really start the other two.

Needless to say I'm a customer for life and I'll be going back soon. They have everything there, even Atari 2600, 5200, and Jaguar games.

I also got the Collector's Edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum, which I'm playing right now.

In addition to all this I've officially started writing again, although I seriously doubt anything I write will ever publish.

"Predators" is the real sequel to Predator.

Since the beginning of my life as nerd, which started when I was around 7 or so, when my father lovingly neglected the television audience rating of 17+ and allowed me to watch the movie "Aliens" with him on Scifi, I've always loved Science Fiction. So, naturally, I enjoyed all the 80s films like Aliens, Terminator, Highlander, and of course, Predator.

Predators, despite being the 3rd installment in the main series and the fifth movie to incorporate Predators altogether, is definitely the true sequel to the first film. Not that I don't enjoy the second movie, but Predators is defintely to Predator what Aliens was to Alien.

The movie definitely doesn't stand on the same level as Aliens, but its still a great film in its own right and does a great job of bringing a classic movie monster back to the big screen in its own glory, rather than a ****ty AvP sham.

New barracks.

So I got a new barracks room. This one has Wifi. Hooray!

So I've been here for 2 months and I've gotta say, this place is alright. Its not that exciting but I'm enjoying it. This place is like a highschool though. People talk about everything about everybody. You've got to watch yourself.

Other than that its not bad here. I got to see my parents over the forth, so that was pretty fun. We went to the lake and I got to hang out with my dad.

I also got Persona 3 Portable, and its really good. I'm loving it a lot. I'd reccommend it to anybody who liked the original.

RAAAH?! Nobody?

I saw my family at the lake this week. Managed to take 2 days to see them. It was a lot of fun. Not much to report right now, really nothings going on.

I saw The Last Airbender. It wouldve been a lot better had it been longer. As it stands its just a decent action movie. Pretty impressive for M. Night though.

Predators comes out soon, and that one should be insane.

I work tommorow...

Yeah I work tommorow...oh well, I get the day after off.

I just bought Persona 3 FES. I loved Persona 4, its one of my favorite RPGs of all time, so I'm very excited to have this one now too. I'm at a deli getting food right now.

For those of you wondering what I've been up to, I'm in Quantico and I'm enjoying life enough right now. I just got my car from home and I can go home pretty much every month now, so I'm really happy about that.

Long time no see.

Wow its been awhile since I posted here and even longer since I did so regularly. Good news is my toes are no longer frozen, but I still can't feel them which probably isn't very healthy. I still run a lot, about the same I do last time I posted, but its not bad because I'm used to it(As well as intense sleep deprivation), so it doesn't bother me anymore.

I bought a PS3 and a TV, and I also bought Star Ocean IV: The Last Hope International. I didn't like it at first but I'mwarming up to it little by little. I've also been playing Pokemon HeartGold, and I love it since its a remake of my favorite pokemon game.

I've also been trying to watch more anime but thats been kind of hard because:

1) I am poor

2) I spend all my extra cash on video games

3) I have no internet in my room

4) I work a lot

All that running did help, because I can now run 3 miles in 22 minutes. Huzzah!

I can no longer feel my toes.

So I got stationed in Fort LeonardWood Missouri for MP training. I'm 6 weeks in, and I can no longer feel my toes. It was -2 degrees the other day and I had to walk in it, without any headgear, and my feet were very cold. As a result I can no longer feel my toes, or any other extremity for that matter. It was like reverse puberty.

With that said, I bought Final Fantasy XIII. Huzzah!

I also bought a PSP and have amassed and impressive collection of games for it. I'm playing Mana Kheima and Disgaea 2 right now, and I can't wait to start FFXIII. Unfortunately my PS3 is my roommates so I have to wait.

In addition to the extreme cold is the extreme agony of running 6 miles every monday morning. Yes, you read that correctly. Every morning we have a formation run for 6 miles at 5 AM sharp, because the God I don't believe in clearly does exist, and obviously does hate me.

I also shot a MK-19, and for those of you who don't know what that is, picture a device half the size of a small car. Now picture that device, which weighs more than I do, is an fully(and soley) automatic weapon, that shoots 40MM grenades at people. If you don't know what THAT is, its the grenades that come out of the underbarrel grenade launcher tube Ahnuld has on every M16 he wields in every movie he's ever been in. But instead of being a small, single round breach loaded tube, its a fully automatic cannon.

I also got OC sprayed, and if you want to look that up, be my guest, because its freakin' hilarious. And painful.
