Christmas in July

Yay! My blogs are back! :)

On the 31st, Cartoon Network is having a Christmas in July thing. They are airing all the Christmas Specials, and then Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (My mom says the kid who plays Ace Jr. kinda looks like Gibby from iCarly  )

Normally, I would be excited to see my favorite specials, but this year, I'm against it. Last year, I started thinking about Christmas in the summer, and by the time it was December, it seemed like all my holiday spirit was used up, and I don't want that to happen again this year. Also, who made this Christmas in July thing anyway? Isn't Christmas made to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ? It just doesn't seem right to watch a Christmas Special when Christmas is 5 months away!

However, I am recording two specials just for the heck of watching them. Chowder's Hey Hey It's Knishmas (my favorite and the only special that really got me in the Christmas Spirit last year) and Ed Edd n Eddy's Jingle Jingle Jangle (My mom wants to watch it, and it is one of the better specials). But other than those, I'm not planning on watching the specials.

So, what do you think? Are you for or against Christmas in July. I'd say I'm against it (my reasons ^^) but I want to know what you guys think. Please reply.

Ice Age 3 Review

I have to say I was not dissapointed by this movie. I loved the newest character, Peaches. It was very funny. I loved The scratxscratte parts :)

I don't think I not liked any part of this movie, it was the second best movie I've seen all year (with Monsters Vs Aliens being #1.)

So please go see this movie, it it AWESOME!

My Birthday Party!

Tomorrow's my birthday party. My birthday isn't till the 7th but we're having a party tomorrow anyway. The theme is Monsters Vs Aliens (best movie of the year). It kinda seems kidish but frankly I don't give a crap. At least it's not Barbie

I don't have much decor. Just MvA napkins, table cloth, and plates (no balloons). I'm also going to display my MvA happy Meal toys on top of my TV for more decor. I'm having MvA Birthday Cupcakes (first year with no cake) and that's basically it.

After my party, my family is going to a drive in double feature, Ice Age 3 & Night at the Museum 2. And on Monday, I'm going to shop and probably spend all my birthday money LOL.

So that's basically it. I'm excited :) Well, I hope you all have a happy 4th of July. Bye!

Dr. Cockroach Pwns All!

Today I saw Monsters VS Aliens with my friends, and let me tell you something, it was AWESOME! The 3-D was excellent, and it was one of the greatest movies I've seen all year.

Ohmigosh this movie had so many funny parts! And it had a lot of sci-fi parodies too. I swear, if you haven't seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor, and go see it.

Before I saw the movie, i would of said my fave monster was between Ginormica and Dr. Cockroach, but after I've seen the movie, my fave is definatly Dr. Cockroach, and here are a few of the reasons.

1. He's practically indestructable (you know, since he's part cochroach, and they are really hard to kill)

2. He is an awesome dancer

3. He has a figgen sweet evil laugh, and a sweet british accent

Hey, if you comment on my blog, right what your fave monster from the movie was or what you thought of the movie.

Mitsukigirl13 out. Peace! :)

I Won!

Okay, today my local radio station was having a contest and I decided to try and call in! And I actually got through! Usually when i call for a radio station contest, I don't get through, but today I did! I won tickets to HSM: The Ice Tour and the HMS 3 dvd! Yay me! (claps hands like London from the suite life). I'm happy :) The only thing that ruined this day was this stupid cough I have. My throat is killing me.

Happy Thursday everyone! (One more day till Friday YAY!)

Cartoon Network is OWNING Nick!!!

I think CN is doing better then Nick now. Here's the recent opinion for me on both channels (the best one first, please comment).

Cartoon Network: First of all, Cartoon Network has totally made a turn around from the Fried Dynamite disaster. They now have Har Har Tharsdays and You Are Here (an ages 7 to 14 version of Toonami on Fridays). Their newest revamp of their channel is a blob thing that can take on the form of other cartoon network characters, and they are always in theme (christmas, halloween, movies, ect.). They're trying to get old cartoons back on there with the PPG, and occasionly airing Grim Adventures, Courage, Mucha Lucha and others. The main shows are Ben 10 & it's spinoff, Chowder :), Flapjack :(, TDI, 6teen, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Secret Sat., Batman, & Johnny Test. There is a lot of variety because it seems like there's always a new schedule everyday. The shows that almost brought CN to cancelation like My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Out Of Jimmy's Head and Fried Dynamite are gone. The only live action on this channel are the movies they show, and that's understandable.

How they can improve: I'd say get a few of the nobody shows off there like Robot Boy and Baby Looney Toons, and replace them with shows to air back on regular basic like KND, Foster's, and Billy and Mandy.

Nickelodeon: It's seriously becoming a Disney clone, only the sitcoms aren't as corney. It's just not a place for kids anymore. What is up with them making Nick At Nite start at 8?! Their schedule is like this: From 6 to 9 it's normal, 9 to 2 it's Nick Jr., 2 to 8 it's normal, then Nick at Nite. It just seems like there's hardly anytime to watch regular programing for kids with school, plus the Early nick at nite.

There's NOTHING original!!! On CN they have original shows like Chowder, Flapjack & Foster's, plus shows from Teletoon which doubles their power! The only original programing Nick has is Spongebob, FOP, The mighty B!, and the sitcoms. The rest are spinoffs of movies and video games. They're even making a series of the Madagascar penguins. What the heck?! They're going to RUIN the franchise, plus the animation looks god awful.

How they can improve: For one thing, make Nick at Nite start at like 9:30 or 10. Stop trying to make series out of movies and make some original shows! And don't just air one season of the show and then just stick it in the reuse bin (AKA Nicktoons Network) and then there's no room for old shows like Hey Arnold and Rocket Power!!!

Well, that was my little... okay Big rant. Please comment.

Spongebob Specials

I'm here to discuss all the specials in order: Christmas Who?, Spongebob's House Party, The "Lost" epi, Spongebob B.C, Have you seen this Snail?, Dunces and Dragons, Friend or Foe, Antlantis SquarePantis, Pest of the West, & Who bob what Pants.

  • Christmas Who?: One of the best Christmas specials ever. It was funny (even the Patchy segments). It had a good moral and Squid was nice. It puts a smile on my face everytime I see it :) 10/10
  • Spongebob's House Party: Funny and LOL. Patchy got OWNED! I liked the music at the end and the whole epi was LOL. 9/10
  • The "Lost" Epi: It was okay. It was funny in Some parts and the Patchy segments were half lame (beginning especially when he was a drama queen just because the special was some cheap walk cycles. Really, in the time it took for that Patchy segment to air, they could of came up with more story to the actual epi.) The story was good though. 7/10
  • Spongebob B.C: This one SSSSSSSUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!! It was LAME! The patchy segment was lame lame LAME! I couldn't understand what the heck they were saying and the rap song was horrible to listen to. 0/10
  • Have you seen this Snail?: It was okay. Atleast there was no stupid Patchy segments. Spongebob and Patrick were kinda out of character. 5/10
  • Dunces and Dragons: (I'm getting tired of typing so i'm going to make the rest of the reviews short and sweet) 0/10
  • Friend or Foe: 0/10
  • Antlantis Squarepantis: -10/10
  • Pest of the West: 6/10
  • and Who Bob What Pants: Estimate: 8/10

Overall: Except for Have you seen this Snail?, all the specials after The "Lost" Epi SUCKED!

Movie Mania!!!

This is a forum all about the movies from now to Christmas.

Wall-e: It was all right. I wish they would of had Wall-e talk more. Very cute and sweet with a few LOL moments. Score: 8/10

Kung Fu Panda: Same as Wall-e Score: 8/10

Coming Soon: Recomendations

Bolt: Looks LOL. Although kinda a ripoff of 101 Dalmations 2: Patch's London Adventure (Another Great Movie) But it definatly looks entertaining and a good family film.

HSM3: Senior Year: Looks okay. After the second movie, I kinda lost intrest, but maybe since their back in school, it will be better.

Madagascar 2: Looks just as good as the first one.

The Tale of Desperaux: Looks just as good as the book

Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show: I wish they would show some fricken trailers already, but judging by the plot line, and knowing Danny, I know it's going to ROCK!

I recommend all these movies, so get out your popcorn, and get ready for the Fall of Movies!

Might be Leaving

(This is not a joke)

I think I might be leaving TV.com. Everytime I go here, it's the same thing. I don't get any responses on my forums, or the forums I write on, in fact, I think everytime I write on a forum lately, the conversation ends. I've even changed my homepage from this to Amazon.com.

I used to love this site. I loved learning info I didn't know about shows, and chating on forums. But now, it's like the fun went away. :(

I'm going to think it over for a month, and please give me advice. If I stay, I'll try to find new info and forums, and if I leave, the only time I'll come back is to discuss The EEnE movie.

So please give some advice to help me make my decision. Thank You

Nazz VS May

Almost everyone knows that the EEnE movie is going to be coming soon to a tele (that's what the british call it) near you.

And, everyone knows that in the movie, Nazz will be revealing who she has a crush on (most likely one of the Eds). Also, I lot of people thinks it should be Edd and Nazz, but I don't, I think he should be with May. What do you think? Here are some tips to help you decide.

Nazz

  • She wanted to dance with him in "May I have this Ed?"
  • She kissed him for being so brave in the epi when Ed pretends to be a monster

May

  • They almost kissed (ON THE LIPS)
  • Even though he was no longer under the sarah & Jimmy cupid's spell, he still kept the Valentines Day card she gave to him.

You be the judge!
