A very fun but sometimes frustrating flight simulation game.

Pilot Academy is a flight simulation game for the PlayStation portable that has not yet reached western shores. I'm not exactly sure why, but nonetheless it's a very fun game. This is obviously a no-brainer if you're a flight fan, but if you're even a casual life and I think that you'll find a lot of fun and a decent amount of replay value in this game. There are two different modes and two different sections in those modes. First there's the civilian air flight class, and the military air flight class. In each one of these classes you can take lessons ranging from simply taking off and flying through hoops to more extravagant things like taking a full flight while keeping the passengers on your plane comfortable. It can get a little bit frustrating sometimes though, when you're trying to fly your plane and it just isn't simply responding and reacting the way you would like to. And there's also challenges and these can get pretty difficult towards the end. The graphics are very nice. And throughout the game you will fly through some somewhat massive environments. I recommend this game for anyone who likes flying, and for people who like but somewhat of a challenge.

Closing comments - A fun, somewhat well thought out flight simulator that works pretty well on the PSP. The graphics are very nice to look at, and the massive environments are very fun to fly through. A very good range of missions ranging from military to civilian aircraft.
