In Patapon you guide your tribe of worshippers to IT-as mentioned in the great prophecy- by using the sacred drums to make them move,attack, and so on. You face various challenges throughout Patapon in order to get to IT whether it be a giant boss that you fight to free an ancient Patapon's memory, or the fierce Zigoton army who are bent on stopping you from reaching IT. The control scheme for Patapon is very original using the square button for Pata, circle for Pon, triangle for Chaka, and the X for Don. And Patapon definitely doesn't lack in cuteness, I find the Patapons extremely cute aswell as the noises they make. The art-style for Patapon is just incredible everything looks very colorful and vibrant, and is the best art design that I have ever seen for a 2D platformer. I would definitely recommend Patapon to any gamer looking for a purely fun time-which they will find with Patapon-and who are looking to get wowed.
