Patapon is a cute game. The music and simplicity of the game are key points for this game. I would recommend this for ages 13+ because the instructions to the game are somewhat confusing. I had a difficult time trying to solve how to cross the dessert and also found out the best way to hunt was without any melee fighters. Finally it dawn on me what need to be done. Another thing I liked was that you could upgrade your units by using better materials picked up in the levels. Things can get tedious because you'll find yourself playing the same levels over and over again. Hunting can get old as you have to keep doing it for meat and minerals. Boss fights are fun, reminded me of Jurassic Park or David vs Goliath. Overall I have liked the game. The music beat always makes my foot tap. The creatures are cute and fierce.
