Yes! finally a game which gives me goose bumps!
Let's make one thing clear, if you are a fan of the usual run and gun. and let's go kill some dudes while staying alive the whole freaking time, then drop it. just press the X in the right corner and don't order the game. This isn't a run and gunner, this is highly tactical and highly emmersive.
Singleplayer:
The singleplayer is just awesome, i did expected some sort of training. or maybe a little bit of an explanation.. because for the beginner gamer this is aweful, i would understand that they would confuse and don't know what to do.
BUT! if you are an average gamer, you are gonna understand it quite fast.
The first mission is also one of my favorites, you begin by an nice intro about how the war started. and after that you get dropped right into action.
Listen to me if i say, you will die the first mission. especcially if ur an beginner gamer and if u are going to do the second objectives. that's right, don't head out to the LZ after blowing up an whole town with awesome bombshells.
Controlls:
The controlls are quite simple, they are just like the other fps games, maybe check into the controller layout to see what is your favorite.
The command radial, i don't like it. it is fairly difficult to use, and it gets on your nerves if ur are getting fire from all flanks. you can't just do click and you are on your way, maybe something like voice recognition would come in handy here.
I really miss an feature of jumping in this game, i had an fair amount of times that there was an boulder in front of me, and i just wanted to jump over it. but nevertheless maybe it is better, because otherwise you would have bunnyhoppers.
Graphics:
The graphics are just awesome, the first time you get the chance to plunge a village with some howitser bombs, that just gives you a mighty feeling. the explosions, the dust and the fact that you see your enemies flying. that is just awesome!
The weapons you are working with are very nicely done, they got the right feel, the right look and even the right sounds. if you are gonna reload your weapon, just take a look at the details of the reloading, just really awesome.
when you are wandering trough the high grass, and u spot an enemy from about 100 meters. and u aim, and plunge one trough his brain. that is just the mightiest feeling ever, just because everything looks and feels great.
Multiplayer: not checked yet, my xbox got an RROD. gonna get back to you in a while!
Verdict:
Awesome game, if u like COD don't buy it. take patience with the game!
