NFL Street was the perfect sequel. It improved on many of the aspects that plagued the first one, while implementing some very innovative moves and options. EA took, not a step, but a leap forward from where they were for the first game, and they landed on they succeeded. One noticeable feature that changed from the first game was the ability to jump of the walls to avoid a tackle, make a throw, make a catch, or break a tackle. This feature adds style and flair to the game. Juking, catching, passing, or hurdling off the wall adds major style points. There are also posters on the walls called hotspots. Run over these posters and you will get huge style points for your Gamebreaker. Your team’s picture will then be put in place of the poster that you just ran over. Street 2 now allows you to call an audible for the formation that your original play was. You can even make predictions as to witch play the offense is going to run while on defense. Now you can play in many different styles of games called street events. Besides the two main game features, Own the City and NFL Challenge, these games let you relieve stress after a hard loss, or a long winning streak. The games include classics such as Crush the Carrier, Jump ball Challenge, and many other different types of games. Street 2 is an all around great game. The gameplay is flawless and the action is intense. This game is a must buy.
