Customization Rocks!!

User Rating: 7.3 | Need for Speed Underground GC
Need for Speed Underground is a solid racer but no more. The physics are good and the sense of speed is excellent. You're screen slightly blurs as you reach extreme speeds. But the story mode isn't good. There is absolutely no plot, except to become the top racer, and the races get repetitive. All the races take place inside the same city and most overlap each other; not once do you go outside city limits. This quickly annoyed me.
The AI cars are fairly smart and gave me quite a run for my money. My favorite part about NFS is the customization. You can trade your car if you want, and there's tons of paint and vinyl to put onto your car. A good selection of cars are included, ranging from nissan Zs to ford Focus's to celicas and tons more. The multiplayer disappoints, supporting only two players and no co-op. The graphics are sound but the soundtrack isn't so good. If you're a hardcore racer there's nothing new here, but if you, (like me), havn't played to many racing games this will satisfy your racing needs.
