Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is the 5th installment of the famous fighting game series known as Mortal Kombat and to be truthfully honest this is the BEST 3D Mortal Kombat they've ever done Deception was good but it couldn't beat this game at all and Armageddon was scaled down! which kinda ticked me off. Now let's get into MK DA. Okay MK DA is the 5th game as I had said and it features a ton load of content in this game it has A whole lot of extra features. The game features 21 Selectable fighters right off the bat with you having yo unlock 14 yes i said 14 of them their are 21 fighters but truthfully there is 2 more Blaze and Mokap are hidden fighters in which you can actually play as if you unlock them if you go down to Raiden and press down you can be Mokap or Blaze how awesome is that.! This game was also released for PS2,GameCube, and Game Boy Advance. The game features 1 Fatality per character which bothered a lot of people but it didn't bother me that much because only 1 of the character's fatalities is good anyway. There is 3 different fighting styles in this game which was really unique for a fighting game 9 years ago I mean awesome!! Each character has 2 hand fighting styles with a unique weapon style of their choosing the games roster is awesome! The game does kill of Liu Kang but meh oh well. The game has Sub-Zero,Scorpion,Shang Tsung,Quan Chi,Kano,Kung Lao,Kitana,Frost,Nitara,Cyrax,Movado,Raiden. It's just one bad ass game ! I love this game to the core! The games music is awesome best music in a 3D MK game. The select screen tells you some information about the character whether they are good or bad., it tells you there fighting styles and everything. Test your might makes a return and a new mini-game Test Your Sight which is also pretty cool. 2 more things about this game then i will be done. The game also features a Konquest mode which people thought it would be an adventure but instead it show you how to use each character's different fighting styles which makes it awesome. The game also features a Krypt and this game has the best Krypt because it actually goes from A to Z like A 1 and A2 all the way to Z 1 and Z2 even ZZ which is wow Deception only went to A through T which was what!! and the Armageddon Krypt just flat out sucked. But in the Krypt u can by things out of Koffins in a dark room out of how many koins you have like i can't remember the colors but there's Ruby,Jade,Platinum and others but i can't remember but those are your money in MK DA to buy things like Characters and videos and other stuff it's really neat and this is the only 3D MK game with the most extra content which is pretty sad Deception and Armageddon could have improved upon it but i guess Ed Boon and Tobias got lazy lol jk or am I?! muhahahaha! And also an another thing that makes this game better than it's sequels is that with every characters weapon you can freaking stab your opponent and make them bleed to death how freaking awesome is that!!?! :D
Well anyway MK Deadly Alliance is the best 3D MK game out there it's sequels Deception and Armageddon are pretty mushc rehases even though they are still kool they don't beat DA
