A game based on a movie that does NOT suck and in fact is fun and a challenge.
At first I got stuck pretty early on in the game because I could not get past the 1st floor of the house, but once I figured it out (duh there was a chest in the basement I walked right by like an idiot) I was able to enjoy 15+ hours of enjoyment out of this game, and that is only on passing it twice (2nd time for the challenge of trying to make my 1st walkthrough). The controls on this game work great. The game makes it easy for one to pick up the GBA and have no trouble getting used to shooting, selecting items, and moving around the house.
The unique items each character has give each of them a specific purpose/importance. You have to figure out what character is best to use in the many different rooms in the monster house. The mini puzzles get you thinking and some are tough to figure out. Finding the keys and upgrades to weapons is challenging at times, but not to the point that you get frustrated and give up on the game.
Currently I am trying to pass it for a 3rd time which goes to show the wonderful replay value the game has. If you own a GBA you have to buy this game...dont pass it up because it is worth every penny. This is the kind of game that keeps gamers gaming!
