It gets off to a great start... but

As you start out, the game is great- graphics are nice, gameplay seems better than most other arcade-type racers, but as I progressed further in the game, the very dynamics of the cars that I driven (even the ones that I originally bought) seemed to fall apart. Not to mention that by the time that I reached idol, my opponents' cars seemed to have things like infinite nitros, the ability to knock my car around like a golf ball, etc...

The police in the game are no better, almost as bad as in real life when it comes to pulling you over for stopping at a red light. Their programming seems to be off also, as in if you lose them in certain locations (like near south central) then you will have to re-engage them and lose them all over again to end the pursuit. I actually lost them, parked, walked away, and when i came back they were still in that same spot on the map.

One last thing... after I hit a certain rank, I found myself racing against group 4 cars, even though I hadn't even unlocked group 3 cars to use... A FML moment.

If you have someone to play this game with online, I strongly recommend this game for you, for the leveled gameplay of multiplayer can yield months of fun. However, if you have a short temper and no one to play online with, then for the sake of your PS3 I recommend you pass on this, for the risk of throwing your system out the window is far too great.
