This remake is good but not that good.

User Rating: 8.5 | Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes GC
Metal Gear Solid totally blew me away in 1998 when it was first released because of it's intense action, the riviting storyline, and the visuals which were considered incredible back in that era. Now the remake of one of the greatest game of all time is here and it's not exactly all it's cracked up to be. Though the improvements were well needed Twin Snakes isn't as fun as it should be. first of all the story remains completely intact nothing has been changed but the cut-scenes are a whola other story. The Cutscenes though are completely over the top and I really liked them especially in the scenes featuring the Ninja (Gray Fox). Boss fights though have been completely butchered since you have all of the attributes from MGS2 the fights aren't as fun as they used to be since all the bosses do is the same exact things they did in the original MGS (with the exception of the tank, the Hind D fight , and Vulcan Raven). the guards are also much smarter than than were in the original sometimes smarter and tougher than they were in Sons of Liberty. All in all Twin Snakes is still a good game to play and for those of you who never played the first Metal Gear Solid, anyone who wishes to replay MGS all over again in a new way or Gamecube "only" owners just dying for a Metal Gear game you are in for one hell of a ride.

Twin Snakes costs about 10-20 bucks now along with the gamecube systems which costs about the price of a PS2 or PS3 game.
