This is basically a remake of the old Metal Gear Solid off the ps1 just improved graphics and new additions.First of all you get first person which is great and new cutscenes are well needed.Some say its just a remake of a the old MGS game but its so much more.The improved graphics I didnt mind but id prefer the old ps1 feel compared to the new flashy gamecube version.Also i dont see why gamecube did the remake instead of the ps2 or even Xbox.Since the xbox version of MGS2 wasnt bad id expect the remake of mgs1 to come from either of these but not the gamecube.Getting back to the subject...

The controls in this one are somewhat weird but easily learned after like 10 minuters.Id give the game a ten but it just doesnt have that feel like the old ps1 version did.To much flash in some ways,but thats what youd expect from new systems.

The sounds are pretty good.First time i choked someone it sounded a lil weird to me.The sound of the socom at the beginnings nice but feels out of place.

The gameplay is same as the ps1 version.You face all the bosses just like the old version just sweet graphics.(Makes sniper wolf look a lil hotter =P and Meryl)

I got the game for only 15$,truthfully I woulda payed 30$ for this game since im a die hard fan of MGS games.
