Better than people say ...
Ok now, the graphics for the game are nothing to get excited about. They are fairly good and feature some good looking guns but the texturing of the game is a little disappointing. They looked good a couple years ago, now they are very muddy.
The sound is where MOHRS really shines. Everything sounds great, from the powerful weapons to the music that follows everything. The audio of the game is definately it's best aspect.
The single player game is done very well and features some very cool missions, especially the ones in Pearl Harbor. But the multiplayer aspect of the game is wonderful. Get three of your buds together and just go at it. The bots that you can play with are actually pretty good and the levels for multiplayer are quite fun. There is also a great coop mode that follows the same levels and story as the original but with two players in stead of one.
Now there are a couple flaws that plague the game. The AI in the single player game can be really stupid and miss you at point blank range, and even not even notice when you stand in front of them. The AI problems were rare but frequent enough to be noticed. Also, the weapon accuracy can be slightly suspect. It isn't enough to take away from the game, but it just seems like you can't aim that accurately.
Other than some minor flaws, Medal Of Honor Rising Sun is a fun game that will please fans of the series.
