If you are looking for a great Kirby game for the GBA, look no further than Amazing Mirror.
The story is about how in the mirror world, the sky above Dream Land, is being invaded by a dark force, which means that it only reflects evil things. Meta Knight flies up to the skies to protect Dream Land, but it splits him and creates a dark version of Meta Knight. Kirby is also split into 4 different Kirbies, and they all go to save the mirror world. You'll soon see the Amazing Mirror being split into 8 pieces, and you gotta get them back.
This game isn't as linear as other Kirby games, but is more open. The worlds are really big and there are many pathes to take(you do get a map which does help). In each world you have to beat the main boss, which will get you a piece of the Amazing Mirror. So it's kinda like Super Mario 64 in 2D but much shorter. When you get all the pieces you have to fight the final boss....I'm not spoiling it.
The gimmick of this game is the cell phone. With it, you can call your buddies. You can call them and they'll warp over to your location. They can help fight enemies, and bosses as well. You do have a limit to how many times to use it, which is shown by how much power the phone has. Once it runs out of power you can't make any calls.
The graphics look nice for a Kirby game. They are colorful, and that's really important.
The controls work fine too. You use the control pad to move Kirby, A to jump and B to suck up enemies. To warp back to the hub world with your phone(speaking of which you can use that as many times you want regardless how much power your phone has) you hold the L button, and to call your friends, you hold the R button.
Kirby is still sucking up enemies as usual, and there are plenty to suck up. A lot of the abilites are quite useful, while some others are completly useless.
THE VERDICT!
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is still a good game. With clever levels, you can't go wrong. If you find it, it's definently worth it. Go buy it now.
