An often overlooked game.
The story in Hogs of Wars is centered on war, a war to control all of Saustralia. It doesn't matter which country you choose at the beginning, since the dialog, etc is all the same. Regardless, the story and scenes, at times, are both humorous and interesting to say the least.
Gameplay in Hogs of Wars consists of your team, up to five members, against a enemy team, also five members but sometimes can be more than five, trying to eliminate each other. If you manage to eliminate the other team without losing a single member of your own team, you earn medals which can then be used to promote your team members. Promotion unlocks special abilities, etc.
The visuals in Hogs of War are surprisingly crisp and even while the music score is whimsical to say the least but good. The controls are remarkable and responsive.
I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys turn-based action-RPG hybrids. Or games in general.
