Another great game from Bungie
Halo has captured the minds of many gamers since the beginning of Halo 1, it wasn't just the oh so high tech graphics, the smart ai, the new gameplay mechanics, the physics, for me it was all about one thing: The story. After playing Halo 1, and 2, and barely starting 3, I picked up the novels, which was surprising to most because I hate reading :P I read the series from Halo: the fall of Reach, The Flood, First strike, Ghost of Onyx, Contact Harvest, and my favorite, Evolutions. So to sum it up, yes, halo has a really large amount of story behind it.
Even without the story, the gameplay was great. The AI's got smarter, there were new smoother weapons, everything flowed great, the cut-scenes were carefully put together, and the differences between difficulties were balanced out. The whole time you're playing campaign you'll be immersed and feeling as if you're part of the story the whole time.
Now, with story and campaign aside I'll have to say this is what I think is the best part of this game: Online Multiplayer. It's outstanding and simple, you go online and choose what kind of game you want to get into and play. There's tourneys there's clans, new maps, and best of all there's a section in the game where you can save your videos from campaign to any of your matchmaking games :) You can choose to put these vids (and pics) online too for everyone to see, so you can already tell this game has a really big community (it still does, with Halo Reach out and what-not)
Overall, I really can't find anything wrong with this game, Bungie has really made this all it can be (And those easter eggs were fun to look for) so I thank you Bungie, and I bid you good luck with whatever you're workin on next
