The best game I've ever played!
All my roommates are watching me playing the first play through. They give me that order that if I play the game, I have to be sure to call them. They don't want to miss anything of the game. I know that it is just like watch an epic movie when watch other people play God of War 3.
The graphic is stunning!! It is on top of all the games that i've ever played!! I'd like to say that I was amazed by the graphic of Uncharted 2. But the graphic of God of War 3 is even better than Uncharted 2!! I tried the demo before. To be honest, I was worried about the performance of the game when I play the demo. For the reason that I found the frame rate is no very stable. Sometimes I can feel very serious frame rate drop in the demo. I was even worried that PS3 may not handle it. However, after i played the game. I would like to say that this is the smoothest game i've ever played. It is just that good!
The gameplay doesn't change much. To me, it is a good thing. I never expect any big change of gameplay for a God of War game. Since you know that it is God of War game!! It is just that good.
I heard a lot of people complaining about the puzzle in this game is too easy. I agree. The puzzle is not as hard/confusing as the previous two. But it is not a bad thing. I can see the creativeness and the effort in designing those puzzles.
I also heard a lot of people complaining that the game is a no brainer, which is only a simple button smasher. I would like to advise them to try harder difficulty level. If you play the game in only spartan(easy) mode, for sure that you don't need to consider dodging and blocking, and for sure that you can play through the game by pressing square button in most of the time. However, in Titan(hard) mode, it will be a different story: you have to figure out the weakness of every type of emeny, and figure out what weapon and what move is the most effective for killing the emeny. To me, it is of great fun. DON'T WASTE THE GAME BY PLAYING THROUGH THE GAME IN ONLY SPARTAN MODE. TRY TITAN MODE AND FIGURE OUT SOME STRATEGY.
Anyway, if you are a PS3 owner, God of War 3 is a must-have!!!!
