Not perfect, but still amazing.
-Awesome/gruesome combat that, despite being somewhat button-mashy, never gets stale
-Graphics range from very good to incredible. Kratos is the most impressively-rendered character ever.
-Fun/interesting puzzles
-Great sound
-a truly "M" game
The bad:
-A little short
-so-so story
-crappy dialogue
-magic spells somewhat boring
Overall the game is great, but not quite the 9.5 I gave it (I would've given it a 9.3 if there was an option). The action is fantastic, graphics are amazing, puzzles are thought provoking, and the pacing is just right. If GOW3 had a better story/dialogue and it was a couple hours longer it would be a perfect 10. Despite it's shortcomings it is a highly-addictive top-tier game with numerous jaw-dropping and stand-out moments that, for me, results in GOW3 ranking up there with MGS4 and UC2; i.e. it is one of PS3's best exclusives. SO BUY IT!!!
