One of my favourite games ever!!! any1 with a ps2 must buy this game.
GOW 2 is everything it was cracked up to be. The first game defined gaming itself and this now has done the same. You are the badass Kratos! The god of war, who in this game is betrayed by your fellow gods and is made no longer the god of war... SO you go mad! You go on a jounrney to get revenged against Zeus.
In the game you fight countless amounts of enemies of all different types using a fighting system that IS SO CLOSE to being as good as the DMC combat engine - but with weapons that are a hell of a lot cooler than anything ever before.
The in game cinematics where the player must press the corosponding buttons that come up on the screen is unbeleivable! no other game i have played to date has made be put the controller down and say "wow". Throughout the game you will meet and fight legendary characters from ancient greek myths and live in the history of the greek. Fight the gods themselves!
The game also leaves on a cliffhanger... which makes the player beg for more!
What an amazing game to give the PS2 the send-off it deserves. thank you
