What Gamespot Users have to say about The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie
- Rating:8.5
A decently good 3D platformer that's pretty fun.
I liked the movie, but this game destroys the movie. IN EVERY ASPECT. Presentation (8.0) Everything is clean-cut and nice, the game is easy to work and play and I really had no major problems. Graphics (8.5) The sa... Read Full Review

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie on Ps2 brights up in areas that weren't seen in the GameCube port.
Intro: Sponge-bob and Patrick must go to Shell City to retrieve King Neptune's lost crown and stop Plankton's "Plan Z''. The one thing that makes Shell City so ancient is that no one ever returned from that place. G... Read Full Review

Being a movie game, you'd think it'd be awful especially since it has movie in the title, but it's very fun.

While this game is pretty good, it is too much like Battle for Bikini Bottom and lacks the spirit of the show.
Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it: SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is better than this. If you have to choose one, get that one. The Good: Some of the level design is ingenious. Also, the en... Read Full Review

Although it has a couple of glitches, this game should provide a fun if derivactive gaming experience.
Gameplay: 8 The gameplay is incredibly similar to that of Battle for Bikini-bottom, the only difference between SpongeBob's moves in BFBB and the movie is that in BFBB, his moves have different names and are made out ... Read Full Review

An improvement upon Battle for Bikini-bottom but it's still nothing you can't get from several other better game titles.
