Fortnite New Weapons In Star Wars: Galactic Battle - All Guns And Loot

Star Wars: Galactic Battle arrives in Fortnite on May 2, and this new season brings an updated weapon pool and changes to loot. It wouldn't be a Star Wars season without lightsabers, but other new sci-fi blasters are also included.

Here we break down all the new weapons and equipment found in Star Wars: Galactic Battle, including the return of the First Order standard issue F-11 Blaster and the new Heavy CR-2 Blaster.

Lego Fortnite is getting a Star Wars festival, and here is everything coming to Fortnite battle royale in Galactic Battle.

Instead of being ground loot, lightsabers are earned in Galactic Battle. You must find a Star Wars character to train in the Force, or, technically, you can also just kill your opponents and loot it from their body.

Find and train with hologram Rey to earn a blue lightsaber and learn Force Push, which shoves everything in front of you.

Find and train with hologram Emperor Palpatine to earn a red lightsaber and learn Force Lightning for electric damage.

Defeat Darth Vader Samurai to earn a different red-colored lightsaber and learn Force Saber Throw, which flings your lightsaber directly in front of you like a plasma boomerang.

Mace Windu will appear on the island on May 8. Train with him to earn a purple lightsaber and learn Force Pull, which pulls in just about anything and anyone nearby.

Sith Lord Darth Maul's hologram will also arrive at a later date. Train with him to earn a red lightsaber and learn Force Throw. This lets you pick up objects around you and throw them as projectiles.

Other than lightsabers, the only weapons found on day one of Galactic Battle will be sci-fi blaster-type weapons. Since these are blasters, you'll need to make sure you don't hold down the trigger too long, as these weapons will overheat. Epic Games doesn't specify when standard ballistic weapons will return.

Captain Phasma's F-11D Blaster can be earned by challenging her at the First Order Base.

Chewbacca will arrive on May 15, and he's bringing his Wookiee Bowcaster, and the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster will be added to loot found in chests around the island.

On May 22, Mandalorians will arrive on the island. This will add the Amban Sniper Rifle and the new dual-wield WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols to the loot pool.

This season adds a Thermal Imploder. Throw a Thermal Imploder, which ignites for big damage and can rip a hole in any nearby structures.
