I would like to see a Resident Evil and GTA hybrid game. Zombies everywhere with a freedom to roam around, car jack and kill anyone with the use of any sorts of weapons and vehicles. And NO I'm not talking about Left For Dead or Dead Rising!

Can you use vehicles (including helicopters), car-jack people, prostitutes, customize your outfit, etc... in left4dead? If you can do all of these then I probably mean left4dead. Plus left4dead is a FPS. Have you played any GTA game before? And I don't think he means Far Cry. Far Cry is not an open-world-free-roaming game. Have you played Far Cry before?

Check out Tiberium. Its a shooter based in the Command and Conquer universe where you play as a field commander. You can kill enemies your self and have control over a few specialized squads of troops, tanks, helicopters etc.

A game like Mass Effect with a battle system like The Force Unleashed would be sweet. Basically I want KOTOR with a really badass battle system.

Well, the new Saints Row will have a mode where you have to fight zombies in an open world, even the atmosphere will get darker.

I would want GTA 4 and Dead Rising.

I'd like to have a wide open city with cars, enterable buildings, and gun shops. There should be survivors in the city also, not alot, but about 100 survivors. Tons of zombies of course. It would have the story mode and survival modes of Dead Rising. The survival mode would allow you to barricade houses and such. You would also have to scavenge for supplies whenever your ran out. There would be a big emphasis on weapon, and food conservation. The online would be awesome, like GTA 4, you would have free mode and team deathmatch (zombies vs. survivors).

Far Cry is NOT "the definition" of an open world shooter. It may be non-linear but it certainly is not free roaming. Just try going to different islands and a helicopter will shoot your butt! And for you to say "Argue otherwise" doesn't make your point any stronger. I have played and finished Far Cry many many times thank you very much. Why would you NOT want hookers and helicopters in your game?! My point was sticking to the element of GTA and mixing it with some Resident Evil. You can't have a GTA type of game without HOOKERS AND HELICOPTERS! Otherwise I wouldn't be talking about a GTA game now would I? And for "Wanting glass in your cereal." I honestly don't know what you're talking about. You probably like some glass in your cereal.

i know terminator isnt a next gen game but there have been a lot of older ones and if anybody here watches the sarah connor chronicles, it makes me wish i could play a Terminator style GTA game

Same, I just hope it's true. ODSTs fighting off the Insurrectionists in the Human civil war and then the Covenant in the events before Halo in the style of RB6V with 8-player co-op would be epic. That's what I heard anyway.

Ehh, get Saints Row 1 instead. The presentation is very rough in my opinion

Half-Life 2 and Gears of War. Put the graphics, and gruesomeness of Gow, with the Gravity-Gun story and physics of Half-Life 2. And of course round based MP like GoW with the spawn weapons as pistol, SMG (with one grenade) Gravity-Gun, Crow-Bar, and grenade. All other weapons you pick up. Now that would be awesome!
