Awesome games that for some reason... you never finished.

You ever played a totally AWESOME game that you were hooked on? But for some reason, you didn't actually beat it? You never progressed past the first hour, despite how awesome you thought it was?

Here are some games I thought were seriously cool, but didn't play for more than an hour.

I loved that game when I started it, but towards the end of disc 3 the story was WAY to predictable and the characters just started getting on my nerves.

It's almost all of my games. I don't know why, i think they're amazing games, I just had or have no will to finish them. I'm actually trying to beat Bioshock right now though.

Maybe I'm too busy or something, but I get bored of playing a lot faster now than i used to.

NINJA GAIDEN 2... it kept freezing on chapter 10, so i traded it.

few days later i found out that it got a bad patch which was crashing the game, i probably buy that game again next year when i am bored.

Agreed. I feel like everything lately is just a rehash of something I've played before.

Havent beat LO but i dont really know why just havent gotten around to it.

Bioshock i got it day one and loved it but got to andrew ryans orphanage and stopped. I was going for the little sister achievement on my first play through and i think it was glitched. there's only like 3 on the level and i save 2 but for some reason the 3rd wouldn't. I killed like 10 big daddies and none of them were protecting little sisters so i just quit and never went back.

I can never seem to complete a season of Madden or NHL. I get 3/4 of the way through and get bored with winning all the time and turn it off.

Then after awhile, I tell myself I am ready for more go back and try again, and the same thing keeps happening. This year, I vowed to NOT erase my progress when this feeling overcome me and just stop playing until the urge picks up again and then finish what I started... I KNOW I CAN DO IT !!! =)

Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 (I got rid of my Xbox, hoping that it would be backword compatible for 360....sadly no)

Psychonauts (everytime I fire this up again, I play it for a few days and another good game comes out)

Turn the difficulty up. Seriously though, I have the same problem, except I usually end up simming the last few games until the superbowl.

Quake 4, I thought it was fun for an hour, but never played it again :P

most of the games that i have i never finished :(

i have a lot of games. the only i can think of is halo 3, cod4, gears of war on easy (working on hardcore) skate, portal (orange box) r the only games that i have finished off the top of my head. there r still a lot of games unfinished.

wow....a LOT, if we are talking any console. I've bought and sold more than 100 games and never saw them through to the end, many I only played for a few minutes, I can tell you that much.

I regretted never completing, or even appreciating many of the Gamecube games I owned, and didn't get to own, so I bought them all back. And I still have some handheld games I would like to play through someday. Don't even get me started on virtual console games. You know as well as I do, the day I beat a Mega Man game is the day I'm celebrating in style.

I hope to do things differently with the XBox 360. I want to cherish every moment of it, to really dig in and enjoy these games the way I did any good game back in the day. I will also probably try spending more time away from this computer, so I can do just that.
