Which is better, GP or PS+? I say PS+

I have PS+ Premium for PS5 and Game pass Ultimate for PC. I'm honestly not impressed with Game pass. Both services are mostly filled with boring indie games, however.

I guess Activision games like BLOPS 6 coming is really the only somewhat interesting thing I can think of atm. I was playing Sable on GP a while ago. It's on PS+ now.

Looks like there are some Sony 1st party games on PS+ and every one on GP.

I noticed Sea of Thieves in now on PS+. Most boring game I have ever played.

If I had to only pick one, I'd probably go with PS+, just because I can still play the DOOM games, Fallout 4, Outer Worlds, in addition to Uncharted, God of War, Spiderman, Demon's Souls, Death Stranding, Tomb Raider, and Ghost of Tsushima.

Sony just has better games.

I have PS Plus Premium and Game Pass Ultimate and I would pick Game Pass by a landslide. Xbox has substantially better games.

Definitely Game Pass Ultimate for me. Played a lot of great games on it and looking forward to playing a lot more. Excellent value.

Just subscribe to PS+ Essential mainly just for the online play.

The correct answer is GP. Day 1 3rd party games and all 1st party games day one is just incredible value. Ps+ has old 1st party games. Meh.

Ignoring cost and focusing on games, GP is obviously better.

I dislike that every game I download on PS Plus Extra/Premium that my email inbox gets spammed with "thank you for your purchase". I do PS Plus Premium tier yet find their rationale of what goes in Extra and what goes in Premium baffling. Their PS1 & PS2 BC offerings seem like a low priority to them.

Game Pass supports PC, so technically Game Pass wins here. PS+ doesn't do shit for PC players and that's a huge lose on Sony's part.

Used gamepass I used to dip in and out for the new releases gutted you cant get the day one Xbox exclusives that way anymore. Really need to check out ps premium and see what it has to offer.

Game Pass is objectively the better choice..

I paid 20 euro for a year of PSN premium and I still found I overpayed.

People giving Sony 10 euro a month or more for basically nothing and some shady emulation, I truly feel sorry for you guys.

Although it is more expensive, GPU is ultimately better due to their Day 1 first party support. Both have Day 1 3rd parties, but Sony's offering are less frequent than Microsoft's.

Still not getting all the love for game pass here. MS first party titles are not interesting, at all. Doesn’t matter if the come day one or never.

They both can disappear and i wouldn't care that much.

PS+ removes first party games from their service. For that reason alone, GP is better. At least I know MS 1st party games will always be there unless there is a licensing issue such as the cars in Forza and Forza Horizons.

Just my opinion though as a subscriber to PS+ Premium and hasn't renewed my GP sub yet.

As MS removed some of its 1st party games from standard GP. Like Starfield, Diablo 4, Hellblade 2, Forza.... and there will be no day 1 releases on Standard GP.

1st of all it’s all subjective.

With that said, the only reason why I can see GP getting the nod is because of the day 1 exclusives to pc (in which is 1 of the main reasons why the Xbox is losing the console race). As for games, it’s all subjective but going off of reviews Sony just may edge out in front of MS.

It's slowing improving though. Dino Crisis just became available.

Now why is Xbox in 3rd place?

If Game Pass really were "the best deal in gaming", Xbox would be number one. It's dead last. You are all just regurgitating Microsoft marketing propaganda. Game Pass is worse than PS+

I have both and I think they are equally meh. I think PS+ has better overall games, and more of them BUT I've played a few things on GP that I would have otherwise had to wait for a sale to play.

However, both services are terrible though and the one takeaway I've gained from having both is that it's just better to buy your games unless all you are doing is playing games you've probably already played on PS Plus or picking and choosing from random indies on GP.

We all have backlogs, just play the stuff in your backlog and wait a year for sales.

I don't think I'll ever subscribe to either subscription service again, but they helped me become a smarter gamer.

Also they seem to have a pretty great selection of small-scale and independent, non-AAA games. And if it's non-AAA, it's better than AAA.

Spoken as a Windows GP user, if that makes any difference. I'm sure the selection is mostly the same.

It’s not the only reason, but it’s not out of the realm to state that the 4 year lead is the biggest reason why the switch is in the lead. Did the lead grow ever since the ps5 launched?

If the answer is NO, then the 4 year lead is virtually the only reason why the switch is in 1st place.
