• Kojima and Konami announce they’ve made up and are making games together again.
  • They bring back Silent Hills and work on the next MGS.
• Clovers/Capcom announce remasters for Viewtiful 1, 2, and GodHand
• MGS4 and MGS Revengeance remasters

The return of F-Zero and extreme sports games.

Normal videogame from Valve.

The closure of Blizzard.

New Burnout, Midnight Club, Motorstorm

Total collapse of the industry. Power limits imposed by governments that make new devs scale back their graphics and focus more on gameplay, make do with what they have. Any new devs must have their brains wiped of all but the most fundamental games or be reeducated, to cut down on the excessive copying that made games so boring. Most players have already left gaming, so budgets can be reduced; games can be specialized for smaller groups of players again, still studio, but not AAAA slop.

A PTO V Pacific Theater Operations announced. Built like I-III and not lame IV. PTO II is my second favourite game of all time.

A new SSX game.

Might as well toss MS a bone, a new Amped game. Maybe it will go Multiplatform.

This Forum made me aware of a 'leaked' Oblivion Remake which isn't the fan mod Skyoblivion. So now I want to know what it is, and what it looks like.

A new Donkey Kong Country game I feel is overdue, it would make Switch 2 more appealing.

Capcom just needs to port Demento and Outbreak to modern platforms. Just do it already.

Whatever Larians new game is; probably Original Sin III. One of my favorite RPG developers, I don't play many massive games, for Larian I make an exception.

Also want to see the brand new Legacy of Kain game, which we only know is in development. Already asked time and time again across the years for Soul Reaver to be revived and that one has already been done now, which has been selling very well. It's finally coming together.

*I don't need to ask for a new Ninja Gaiden, Streets of Rage, Dragon's Dogma anymore because we got all of them.

I'd be all for limiting power and making developers have to focus on evolving gameplay first and foremost. It's obvious that isn't happening in the AAA space and likely won't due to budgets.... We're stuck in a cycle of playing the exact same games over and over and over... The graphics and cinematics being the only things to have evolved... I'm at the point of saturation with so many genres and there are zero graphically superior games that will shake the fact that they're spending 400 million making the same games they made for 50 million ten years ago and probably 20 million ten years before that...

RIGS 2, that is a good one. RIGs 1 was so much fun on PSVR.

PSVR 1 had some really immersive/great games: Eve Valkyrie, Skyrim, RIGS, to a lesser degree Star Trek Bridge Crew.

@TheEroica: Castlevania Rebirth is an official Castlevania game and not a homebrew game, is that what you mean? It's a re-imagining of Castlevania The Adventure, like how Super Castlevania was a re-imagining of the original Castlevania. They are both 16-bit style 2D Castlevania games. It seems close to what you want.

Super Castlevania IV had a seel all it's own. The whip being free flowing was a big part of the fun. I'd love to see them revisit that.

• Game development somehow falls under "arts and humanities" classification or something under a new agency, and all publishers must become non-profit. Now the industry can focus on the consumer and make the games they want to make, instead of worrying about the shareholder and making games that follow trends, capitalize on gimmicks, and generally bring down the entire industry by guiding it down a path that leads nowhere.
• Half-Life 3 is announced.
• "Universe of Starcraft" (WoW but Starcraft) is announced. It's an MMO action game, with real-time combat. We need more MMO action games.
• Deus Ex remake
• KOTOR 1 remake, KOTOR 2 remake, and KOTOR 3...by Nightdive and Obisidian
• A genie appears and once per year grants me a wish to remake any game I desire.
• GoG, Epic game store, and various other retailers/storefronts actually try to compete with Steam and offer viable alternatives that include community tools, large catalog of games, frequent deals and discounts, built-in mod support (when the dev is OK with it, of course).
• Forced/marketed exclusivity is illegal. To be clear, market analysis needs to be done so that if a game doesn't have any demand in a certain platform or that platform is unable to run a game, then it's fine...but if a game can be on a platform and there is enough demand for it (X% of the people or something) then it has to be on that platform.

Realistic: ARMS 2 and Power Stone 3. First ARMS sold fairly well and would make a good launch window game for Switch 2. Power Stone 3 was in the Nvidia leak.

Dubiously realistic: Veiwtiful Joe 3, blur 2. Kamiya is back at Capcom making a new Okami, so VJ3 is not entirely off the table but it would be years from now at the soonest. blur is now a Microsoft property, and they have some good racing studios that could use a break from Forza.

Not realistic: A true Bushido Blade successor. There have been some decent attemts like Die by the Blade, or Slice Dice and Rice, but I mean one where exploring around reveals all the levels are interconnected, and you can cut the bamboo.

Finally, I second everyone who asked for more eXtreme sports, including all the 1st-party snowboarding games we used to get.

SOCOM, Battlefield that is very similar to 4, Vigilante 8, Timesplitters, ATV Offroad, Driver, Spec Ops, Syphon Filter, Ghost Recon Wildlands 2, Breath of Fire, Poker - Texas Hold Em that is completely RNG and not rigged, Marvel vs. Capcom 4, Tekken Tag 3, World of Warcraft 2, Medal of Honor, sports licensing to go beyond just one dev team, Console/PC hybrid with accessibility of a console, new turn based Final Fantasy, NFL Blitz, Mario Maker 3, Super Mario Kart Maker, to see old adventure franchises like Faxanadu or Battle of Olympus sequels (you could put a lot of games here like Star Tropics, Crystalis, etc.), more console TCG's, real money gambling on console (make it 21 plus), Nintendo adds trophy/achievement support, Amazon, Google, or some other big company tosses their hat in the console arena, to actually hear something about the 300 plus games releasing at some point, to see a good SONY gaming show (one can dream), that's enough.. although I'm sure I could go until the end of time.. lol

Dirt 6 always enjoyed the series.
