What games are on your Christmas list?

Throughout most of the year, if there's a game I want I will buy it myself. However, that practice usually comes to a halt towards the end of October and I start building a Christmas list for what I want. This year, my list is as follows.

1. Dragon Age: Veilguard

2. Astro Bot

3. Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead RetroRealms Double Feature

4. Star Wars Outlaws

5. Black Myth: Wukong

What about you guys? What are you hoping to get?

If I finish my two current games I have inline then probably Dragon's Dogma 2.

I got Cyberpunk 2077 a few years back from my brother, I’m still content with it.

@PSP107: True, I'll think on it. This year I was just buying whatever when it was a good price and not really for any occasion.

I'll get Among Us VR for my kids, but that's really cheap and is more like a stocking stuffer. I'll have to find some other good games that we don't already have.

I don’t want anything for myself,but I bought a gaming chair for my nephew. I got it for a deal,50% off and only paid about $178 with taxes. It’s not my cup of tea but my nephew is only 12 years old so he’ll be thrilled he got another thing gaming related.

don't forget behemoth vr for yourself lol. vex vr is good kids game if they don't have it already.

vex is the closest your going to get to astrobot rescue missions from the first psvr1 lol.

We are doing secret Santa this year. So i'm hoping for either a steam voucher or an 8 in 1 switch card reader. The latter would be very useful when docked. It's like having a console with 8 disc drives 😄.

Games wise nothing really is pressing in terms of buying new stuff. I plan to be playing BG3 and, probably, Horizon forbidden west. Or maybe FF7 reunion. If Ys X and/or Space Marine 2 drop to 40 quid in a sale, I may take the plunge though.

I'm gonna grab the Castlevania Dominus Collection... Maybe a few other indie games and smaller games. No AAA interest me atm... I'm bummed Ghost of Tsushima didn't grab me...

The game looks and plays great but I just have no stomach for doing nothing burger rides across empty fields for 50 hours. It's a very well made assassin's creed game though.

@CaseyWegner: I don't really need/want anything that I didn't already get myself, and I'd rather they just focus on getting my kids gifts if anything or just save their money.

Persona 5 Strikers. For whatever reason, I didn't pick it up when it launched, so it's about time that I give it a go.

To be fair I have a huge back log on both Xbox and playstation so probably nothing.

I'm with GirlUSoCrazy as I too don't need anything for Christmas since I already got my own thing for this holiday season and that's upgrading my gaming PC to the 9800X3D and it's all I wanna do for the rest of 2024.

I'm more giving than receiving to put it that way.

I dropped some hints to my girl,so we'll see. Wouldn't be mad at Space Marine 2 or Stalker 2.

I have so many that I couldn't possibly dream of thinking of buying any new ones ... However I am eying on that PC Game Pass ultimate subscription just to play Spyro Reignited Trilogy alone

I tell my family not to buy me anything, Christmas is for the kids, so I make sure they get a heap of stuff.

None. I'm not trying to add more to the backlog right now. There are some key games I want to focus on before buying or asking for anything else.

People need to understand that Christmas isn't about the gifts, its about giving. There is no such thing Christmas is for kids. Anyone fool enough to think it's for kids obviously don't know what they're talking about.

Im hoping to see the Castlevania advanced and Dominus collections on steam go on sale.... I'm also considering grabbing one of those game controller add ons for my phone. Maybe check out streaming or some games on the store. There are times I travel lean and don't even want to bring switch or deck because I can't afford the space. Figured a little gaming controller add on could be fun a d have a small footprint.

Shot out to Santa though... As a kid he always put my games front and center lined up perfectly under the tree.... Xmas haul during the snes era was incredible...

We don't do gifts for adults anymore in my family. I'll get my dad a really nice bottle of red, but that's about all. I give money for my niece's education savings and buy her some gifts (she's 4). Doesn't look like i'll be buying anything for myself that i've seen... Maybe something on sale.

Christmas is for kids, anyone who's a parent knows this, and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about.

Did you forget you made a thread in OT? My family always celebrate Christmas of all ages. If it's not part of your family tradition, I can understand.

@last_lap: Whenever I pick or pack an order of dozens of gift cards, I think, this person really hates Christmas but can't admit it.

And I never said Christmas was ONLY for kids, I give a present to my brother, mother etc, but its mostly for children. You have kids, so i'm not sure why you're trying to argue its not.

Let me ask you this, do you, your partner, brothers, sisters, parents etc get the same amount of presents as your kids?

@warm_gun: Unless you know their circumstances then it's hard to judge. I recently bought 4 gift cards for my kids, that's to go with the other dozen or so presents. So they could be an accessory if you will to other present to top it off.

Or they could be for adult family members which is a smart way to go about it as that way the person receiving the gift card can buy what they want.

Maybe that person has too many family members to go around thinking what each person would want.

There is also a lot of other variables to consider here.

I'm not a big Christmas person myself, but I know my kids love it. We've already put up the Christmas tree and decorated it, and as long as my kids are happy then I'm happy, I don't need gifts myself.

I'll probably just get PSN or Xbox store cards to be honest I don't tend to go physical in this gen.
