What famous Games are you ashamed of never playing?

I have never played a Zelda Game.

I have never played a Metroid Prime game.

I have never played a Half-Life game.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game.

I have never played a Halo game.

I have never played a Super Smash Bros game.

I have never played a Resident Evil Game.

I have never played Starcraft.

Oh and the first time I've played a Metal Gear Solid game was around February of this year.

I'm not ashamed, but I would've liked to play the first Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. I never owned an Xbox, which is why I haven't. Counter-Strike is another huge game I haven't even tried. I'm more of a UT person..

There are also some point & click adventure games I should've played a long time ago (but didn't), such as Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango and the Monkey Island series.

I also can't seem to get into strategy games. Or maybe I just really suck at them, cause I'm never having fun while playing them.. :P I've kind of missed out on games such as StarCraft (I played it single-player a while until I got bored), Rome: Total War, WarCraft series, World in Conflict, to name a few good ones.

Planescape: Torment and the old Baldur's Gate games. I was too young to enjoy them at the time and now they are too outdated to enjoy imo.VoxteX

Goldeneye 007 is absolutely horrible by today's standards, so there's no reason to play it, unless, of course, you haven't bought a single video game that has come out in the 21st century. If that's the case, go for it. If not, steer clear. It hasn't aged well at all.

The only REALLY good ones he listed were Metroid Prime, Zelda, and Super Smash Brothers. All the rest I can do without.

No I've actually got in Meteal Gear Solid, and now its my second most favourite series, its just that some of those games are not on my system, and I really don't have the time/money to buy new systems for a few games. On the other hand, I am really interested in getting into Final Fantasy, especially FF7, I'm going to get Crisis Core for my PSP, Final Fantasy 12 on PS2... And the tactic game on PSP :)

Perfect Dark on the N64.Goldeneye was so great in my eyes that I just didn't think that the sequel could live up to it,so I never dared to play it..But alot of people tell me its actually better than Goldeneye,guess I'll never know.stvee101

Perfect Dark isn't the sequel to Goldeneye 007. Everything or Nothing is. Perfect Dark is a FPS made by the same company as Goldeneye 007, but they still share no relation to each other.

But it was the follow up to goldeneye,they had to use different characters and settings because Rare lost the Bond liscence to EA.It used the same engine and was designed by the same devs.Maybe not a true sequel,but as I said a follow-up.

Well just get your hands on it however you can lol.That game took over my life for a few months 10 years ago,loved every minute of it.

I've never played a JRPG or any of the N64 platformers. I played Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 with Spyro for my platformer fix during that era, I've only recently got Crash 1 on PSN though, and it's...... very difficult, which is odd as I never seemed to have any problems with 2 & 3 when I was younger.

There's a lot of famous games UI haven't played (GA IV, Halo, any WWII shooter, mass efect, bioshock, Forza) but i'm not ashamed that i've never played them. I have no interest in them, regardless of how famous they are

Without the nostalgia factor I find it really hard to get into old games. Try playing an NES/SNES/Old PC game that you didn't play a lot when you were younger or when it was just released. Maybe it's just me but I definitely can't get into them. Games like Deus Ex, on the other hand, are still amazing to this day but I did play it at release.
