Is this a good generalization about the games of the 360 and PS3?

Both systems are virtually equivalent in hardware and features, and the differences are close to minimal, but I was wondering about the games.

Is it safe to say that the 360 is the system for those who like shooters?

And the PS3 is the system for those who like action adventures?

Is that a safe assumption or am I off?

PS3 AAAE shooters: KZ2 and R2

360 AAAE shooters: PDZ and Halo 3.

I don't get why you said it.

Killzone 2 kicks ass in the shooters department.

360 has more exclusives, PS3 has less but better exclusives. Both share a lot of great multiplat titles. That's all the generalization you can make about the 2 consoles really.

Not if you actuallylook at the game libraries....

360 has great shooters (Halo 3, Gears of War 1&2) and great RPGs (Tales of Vesperia, Mass Effect).
