Listen, I understand that SE has seen a decline in quality over the many years that they have been developing games. Recently there have been a lot of cash in games and nasty rush projects (eew, Infinite Undiscovory). The company is still making high quality games even though they make some stupid ones, too. But come on, how can you deny these titles?
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII:
An interesting take on level progression, an emotional story line and a the Materia Fusion mechanic make Crisis Core one of the PSPs best.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy:
This is a massive handheld game (lolz teh oxymoron!!1) that has more content then most console games this generation. I have a solid 37 hours in it and I don't have plans on stopping any time soon.
Final Fantasy IV:
A lot of people complain that SE relies too heavily on remakes. Still, it's hard to deny a complete revamping of FFIV with new areas, voice acting, cutscenes and complete 3D modeling.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift: The sequel to the Game Boy Advance game is jam-packed with content, looks better a more vibrant and has more of the strategic gameplay that makes the gameplay so rewarding.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions: A perfect example of how a ****c can still shine. New cutscenes, a mature and expanded story made this even better then the original.
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days: Reviews are saying that 358/2 Days is another content packed adventure with a good story to tell. Monday should be awesome.
The Last Remnant: This was a problematic game with a lot of good ideas. There was a ton of stuff to see and do, just on the first disk alone, the story was interesting enough and the battle system was a neat real time/turn based hybrid.
