From bright & colourful to dark and gloomy shit.

Sums up the PS brand pretty well lol.

So many good memories over the years. PS was my go-to growing up, but i've enjoyed all systems barring a few.

Looks depressing. Its seems as the generations moved forward sameness is a bit intense. That is why I was glad to see games like Astrobot getting some attention.

You couldn't even fill up one with Microsoft mascots. Master Chief, Marcus, Forza car. That about covers it.

They missed Sackboy.

Give it a break man. This thread is not about Microsoft. Why do you goons bring MS into everything?

Hey just stating the facts regardless of whether you like them or not.

I wouldn't call Uncharted, Horizon, Spider-Man, Littlebigplanet, Astrobot, Ghost of Tsushima, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank "dark and gloomy" but hey your world, your facts

Thanks for sharing, cool pics. It does look like the games are geared for a more mature audience as the consoles evolved. Lots of good memories though.

Not really, PS1 was way under powered than N64 and PS2 was even more under powered than Xbox.

They didn't release at the same. Not a fair comparison.

Cool seeing the history there. I certainly had some great times with their systems and games myself especially the PS and PS2. Those two systems were my mains at the time. I definitely had other systems but I got a lot more games on those two consoles.

You could just add some multiplatform characters in it like was done above for playstation.

Boy, PS3 was a grim showing. Still, I appreciate the good vibes and props to PS and its old grizzled presence in the game

Despite the hardware being slow and clunky coupled with unreliable and multiplatform games running worse on it, I enjoyed my PS3 gaming experience.😁

@xantufrog: PS3 had more exclusives and more variety than PS4...

I love how half of those are not Playstation franchises, but lets not talk about that, lol.

Yup! Still shocked to see Altair up there, even though Assassin's Creed was ported to 360. MF'ers don't even like to associate Mega Man and Final Fantasy with Nintendo anymore, so...

As I've been saying, most of the series people loved on the PS1 and 2 were third party and are now playable on other platforms. This shows that. Now that they've lost those and also reduced Japanese developer support so much, were stuck with mostly the grim photorealistic story-driven stuff. Why I have no interest in future PS.
