Delaystation: Greatness Awaits in 2027 (Intergalactic)

Intergalactic has been delayed to 2027

By the time it gets here we'll be talking about the PS6! This game looks so good now fidelity-wise, but by the time it comes out, the PS6 will probably be right there waiting to blow it away. TLoU2 managed to hold up well so maybe it will be the case with this.

Well, I'm disappointed, but I want the game to be good.

The trailer shown lacks substance so for me there is nothing lost by this delay. Until gameplay is shown I am not swayed in favor or out of favor. You are right though. By the time it is released it will be on the PS6 and Xbox Next (if released on Windows😏)

@Pedro: Yeah I agree, I want to see gameplay too. I'm mostly hyped off of the studio's pedigree, and that they are doing something that is a departure from their past few games with more exploration and more diverse locations. But it's disappointing to me that now we might have to wait longer to see more than what they've already shown.

Not at all surprised. If only Sony at least had some games they could have remastered that fans have been clamouring for that they could have filled in the gaps with. Perhaps even ones that had some anniversaries for even. 🤔😅

ND did stated awhile back that they won't announce their games too far out from release. So chances are, it won't be later than fall/winter 2026. When The Last of Us 2 was announced back in 2016, it was in very early development, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been in active development for over 4 years now. I keep telling you guys that development time has really took a toll on a lot of developers since the start of the 8th gen and now, it's even longer. This is what happens when AAA games gets so bloated, it causes problems.

That announcement trailer got so many downvotes, hopefully there's plenty of time for correction but hey, I do like Religion Zealots in games. The trailer did impress me on the actual game on what it's about but the main character is really off putting IMO. (Please include customization on the main character Neil)

I hope they are scrambling to remove all the wokeness they injected into the game for the past 5 years hence the dalay. Wishful thinking?

In time to release at the end of the gen just in time to remaster it for the following gen. Genius.

If ND are saying that then I know it's a garbage game because ND aren't known for their great gameplay, in fact it's the opposite.

Probably best to delay it until the PS7 in 2035, that way they might finally figure how to make great gameplay.

I've seen what passes for gameplay in ND titles - guessing whatever they release will be 80% cinematic walking
