Are you hyped for Naughty Dog's new game?

Naughty Dog revealed the game they have been working on the past 4 years last night. It's just a teaser, but I assume we'll see more soon. Are you hyped for this new IP, SW? Or would you have preferred they have done another entry in an existing IP? I think it looks interesting so far, and looking forward to see what they can do with a sci fi setting.

Interested in seeing what it is but I wouldn’t say that I’m hyped for it per se. While I do feel that they make some pretty good games I do find that they can be overhyped.

@SolidGame_basic: Sorry but it is, Naughty Dog burned through all their good faith after what they pulled with the TLOU2, cancelling Factions and giving gamers remasters and remakes of games that aren't even a decade old instead of using that time to give us a sequel or new IP.

But, they have a track record of great games, so I don't expect it to be a turkey.

Kinda? Naughty Dog games are just okay for the most part. Way too much focus on presentation backed by serviceable gameplay. But it's a new IP, so I'll keep an eye on this until we see how it plays.

I like the 80s retro-futurism. ND clearly put a lot of work into the look and vibe of the game world.

Aside from that, I still don't know what kind of game this is. TBA.

Uninteresting main character design

Devs should start to realize who they choose for main character MATTERS. At least to me, it does. Not gonna bother with Ghost of Yotei and not gonna bother with this. At least on launch I wont. Maybe when it reaches bargain bin sale if it gets good reception

I dig the 80s aesthetic it has going. A big of cringy ad placement about my only criticism, but it helps with the style in parts too. I'm interested, not hyped, but interested nonetheless. Glad to see they've finally moved on from TLOU and Uncharted, this has to be a creatively refreshing project for the team.

Either way, Naughty Dog is just too damn good to make a bad game. They're one of the very few studios that could pull off a truly "woke game" and it being an absolute masterpiece. These are artists at the top of their industry. Let them go at it.

I loved Uncharted 1 & 2, so I'm excited. The trailer didn't reveal much, so my anticipation stems from the fact that it's Naughty Dog who are making it.

Hell naw. These "games" are for the modern audiences. Problem is, modern audiences aren't dedicated gamers, so they won't support them how they'd like them too, and expect... you guessed it, those same dedicated gamers to purchase their products. That's why they get mad and call gamers such hateful names. They hate the people they expect to support them. Crazy, right?

Big part of why all these expensive, time consuming projects like Concord are failing left and right, and why thousands of developers are being let go. Most of the AAA gaming structure is crumbling right before our eyes because of multiple issues, like unsustainable budgets, time constraints, and political activism where it doesn't belong. What could go wrong?

Looks promising. But I lost a level of respect for Naughty Dog ever since they cancelled TLOU Multiplayer.

The concept is interesting enough and I did see minor gameplay for the melee attack on the robot. Plus, I like the fact that Naughty Dogs is taking inspiration from my favorite Anime aka Akira:
