Its very disconcerting when i see articles that major SONY first party studios are choosing to develop for the playstation 3 instead of the vita. Why couldnt they balance both? Nintendo did so with the 3DS. Also, many of the games we have now are ones that have been ported over from the superior console versions. Uncharted was the only game really worth it. I know the vita just came out, and like the 3ds the first few months are going to be slow, but we knew nintendo had amazing games coming for the 3ds, but with sony and vita,i just dont see anything in the future that will be a must have for vita. I really hope they are leaving all the huge announcements for E3 for the vita, but right now it just feels like sony is abandoning it... Right now, i feel like i could of waited. I fell for the hype just like some of you and bought it on launch, and i should of learned my lesson from the 3ds launch. Considering everything and i said, and feel free to add anything, do you regret your vita purchase thus far? Do you feel like you could of waited? Do you think sony will step it up post E3?

Most people would regret buying a new system. A lot of people regret buying the 3DS because of the lack of interesting games and that's been out for a year.

Bought it at the Japanese Launch and no I don't regret it. I didn't regret buying my 3DS launch window either. I have Gravity Daze which is the best game on either system so far in my opinion. The launch line-up of games for N.A. and EU was good and I'm looking forward to a few games this year.

Not until Phones get quality controls built in and games with a ton of depth on the level of dedicated handhelds that aren't ports of regular games already released like Final Fantasy or GTA. We'll see how long it takes for that to happen. Until then handhelds will continue to be better then mobile gaming for people who aren't casuals.

It's new. Of course they regret buying it now. In a few months they'll all be smiling with it.

Im glad alot of you are happy with it, but how can you all be so content with the library of games right now? Its mind boggling, considering all my friends who have one think the library is crap.

I don't get this. Doesn't most people who own a handheld console have other gaming platforms? The PS Vita launched with a decently sized lineup and several games will be released in the near future (MGS collection, Mortal Kombat, Resistance and Gravity Rush). But maybe that's just me.

Because people have different opinions. I don't see howthat would be hard to understand. There were people content with the 3DS launch line-up which was far inferior to the Vita launch line-up.

Yeah kind of, when I was first going to buy one my mom and dad played a joke on me in the store... I had to walk to best buy during my lunch hour and I do not have a car and bought it... I would say it brought me alot of enjoyment at first and now I pick it up for a quick session... I might resell it but idk Wipeout is cool. Kinda sucks with so much good crap coming out movies... I decided not to get a next gen console because I prefer handhelds but I still would like to pick up a 3DS if I can land a second job.

I take issue with this statement. Nintendo balanced both the 3DS and their console? Really? While I can point to a flood of games being released for the 3DS, how many games exactly have Nintendo developed and released for the Wii in the last eighteen months?

Nope. Even though I haven't played it as much as I would have liked, I've just been content with Mass Effect 3 online and the offline component trying to finish it off on insanity. Having said that, I do plan to purchase Wipeout 2048 just before my bday.

There's always some buyers remorse on a new console. Especially when you have to sit and wait for new games.

no i don't regret it at all. I'm just still waiting for all the features to become available. Especially Remote Play for PS3 games. Can't wait to bring Starhawk and GT5 with me to work. ;)

Nope. One of the best purchases I made. In fact, I bought a second one the other day just for the hell of it.
