Say i can only afford(mostly time wise) to play 1 game what would you suggest?

Thank you.!

P.S i'm not a troll just 1 game is a beautiful masterpiece and well SR can be lots and lots of madness FUN....
simple as that...

In my opinion i would choose Skyrim, purely for the fact it will be such a long, fun and engrossing game with lots of enjoyment to be had. I have personally never been too interested in the Saints Row series, but Skyrim definitely looks like it could be a GOTY contender in my opinion.

I pre-ordered Skyrim (so far that and Rage were the only two I pre-ordered). I like Saints Row 2 a lot but SR3 seems a bit too silly. I'll probably get it eventually though.

but say i'll have smt like 2 max 3 hours a day to play a game... will i still be able to enjoy it? i mean that yeah the game is awesome, but will it take just 30 min to actually get to the quest or smt like that? (maybe someone have the same issue?)

In three hours people managed to level from 1 to 5 (this progress is of course longer the higher level you are) but yes having fun playing three hours a day should not be a problem, you go where you want and do what you want. I'll say you'll have 100 + days of fun, more if you want.

Honestly for me I am not the slightest bit interested in skyrim. Looks like it will end up with you just using magic in both hands through out the whole game. And I get very board of RPG's as is. Very Board. Saints row 3 though will keep me very interested.. I like open world sand box games like that.

I don't think you're a troll. It's an honest question. They're both good games in their own right. It's a tough question in regards to how you put it though. The reader HAS to put himself in the position of only being able to get ONE. For this reason I chose Skyrim simply out of prefference. I like high fantasy adventure and I also like outrageous, over the top thuggery. High fantasy, in this case just happens to outwiegh thuggery. They're both open world sandboxes so I reckon each will provide TONS of gameplay hours in their own right. SR3 will hopefully be available for DL just like SR2 is now & by that time I will have probably exploited all or most of what Skyrim has to offer & I can then enjoy SSR3.

thats why i like sony boards...people are really nice here)
Anyway the only thing that bothers me is time...only 4 that reason i bought dark souls and had to sell it really soon (got the full price though lol ))))
I couldn't enjoy the game because of constant interruptions and welll yeah the pause button...
i've beat demons souls but back then i didn't had a kid lol )))

On a side note my wife told me to buy Skyrim and thats final lol :)

Dude, Sorry to hear about Dark Souls.

If your wife told you to get Skyrim then you'd better get it. Don't be arguing with the Lady. Between the two of you you could play it together in a kinda marital co-op. Could actually turn out to be a ton of fun for the both of you. I'm a crusty old single man with two cats to take care of. Their lack of thumbs make them completely useless as gaming partners although they are slowly getting the hang of peeling potatos with their claws. Silly things.

tough choice for me. I'm more inclined towards SR3, and honestly i don't think Bethesda RPGs are worth that much of a look outside pc. without mods they are just much less impressive. but that's just me.

on the other hand, the entire Saints Row franchise has been consistently entertaining, and the Third will likely be as good if not better. with multiplayer, it'll last much longer than you think as well.

SR3 for me, I'm sure I'll have more fun with it early in the game, I may buy a special edition if I find one ; Skyrim will wait, I still need a lot of gameplay details and want to read impressions of people who played it

Saints Row 2 to me was really boring, so I'm gonna skip 3, I've been excited for Skyrim for quite a while!

They should both be really fun and really long with a lot of content.

They should also be buggy as all hell.

However, I get the feeling that SR3 will just have those goofy looking glitches that don't really affect gameplay.

I'm expacting Skyrim (especially the ps3 version) to be more buggy and those bugs will probably be a lot more annoying ones that do interfere with gameplay.

I'm basing this on my experience with the two companies on the ps3: Volition seems to put some effort into their ps3 titles while Bethesda only really cares about the 360 version.

I'll buy both as they are such different games and sometimes the games you want to play all depend on your mood (and how much time you have to spare atm). However, Skyrim will almost be impossible to ignore as I can't frigg'in wait until release the date. :)

actually a few of us said we are getting saints row 3. And to the guy who said part 2 was boring.... really? If you can get board playing a saints row game you never really played one.
