Hey guys im a little torn at the moment..u see i dont kno what to buy. recently i just bought Prinny and i'm loving it but now i feel torn between buying Disgaea:Afternoon of Darkness or Resistance Retribution..i mean i love strategic RPGs now that i've finished FF:War of the Lions(yay!:D) but i also want a shooter that can keep me occupied. I guess i'm just looking for a game with (or seems like it has) alot of replay value. Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.:)

seeing as resistance isn't out yet, and disgaea psp is only $20 I would go ahead and get disgaea! It will last you a long time!

Get Disgaea for PSP. Its easily one of the best PSP games out there. I have played the resistance demo and it is not that great. I really liked Syphon Filter on PSP, Socom, and Killzone but this just wasn't that good. It was way too easy because of the auto target, and I know you can take it off but then it is too hard to shoot anything. The graphics were good though but I also didn't like the cover system. If your looking for a lengthy shooter then I'd recommend Syphon Filter but if its only out of those 2 get Disgaea for sure.

Disgaea = Replay value, here ya go

yup, when you finish it and start over you have everything you had before, except some storyline characters, which when you reach the point when you get them again, they are exactly as you left them

Personally, FPS games don't feel fun on a small portable device. Perhaps you should go for disgaea? For some reason, I've heard that anime games sell quite well on western markets.

lol, what sort of statement is that? You make yourself sound like an unaffiliated party, despite posting on this (western) forum, and having what appears to be an Japanese-designed avater.
